"I need help!"
"With what?" Jaden asks
"Planning" I simply say
"We're going to need more than just pla-"
"a date with Daniel" Syd says "let's see, you met in the dance studio you told each other two days ago at his first show on the summer tour"
"Something with surfing?" Jaden says
"He does surf" I nod "but not as good as me" I joke flipping my hair
"There's only one way to find out" Sydney says
"Just take my word for it, I've surfed for yEArs" I insist
"But you also took a break for a year" Jaden counters
"Okay and the five months I've known Seavey, he's ONly brought up surfing" I defend "I still think I'll be better"
"Then call him!" They both say in unison
"He's touring but I'll try" I FaceTime him and not even a full ring he answers "are you always on your phone or something?" I laugh
"For you, I'll always be available" he cheesely says
"Shut up" I laugh "so you said you surfed right?"
"Yeahh" he says
"I'll come down when you have the day off to see who's better" I say
"Tomorrow the 21st" he says "I'll watch out if I were you" he laughs
"He's good at surfing!" Zach yells
I laugh before speaking "Okay, I'll drive there tonight and be there tomorrow"
"To see who's better at surfing or just to see me?" He teases
"Maybe a bit of both" I laugh
"Okay, see you tomorrow"
"It's a date" I smile and giggle at his reaction before hanging up. "Batta Bing! Batta boom! I win" I cheer
"Win wha-" Jaden starts
"Asking each other on a date" Syd explains "step up your game" she laughs at Jaden
"How was I supposed to know that?!" Jaden argues "you're her sister!"
"I lived next to you for a year now" I defend "I've spent many hours with you when I'm not at dance or the studio"
"Okay, fair enough" Jaden agrees "but I do know you well, I just don't keep myself up to date on your dating life"
"How about Syd's do you know that?" I genuinely ask and he shakes his head "I do, I know what's going on in New York" I smile proudly
"Do you have anyone in New York?" Jaden asks my sister and she shrugs "c'mon I need words" he says "I just don't want to mess anything up"
