He nodded.

"Then how did you know that the drug dealer was in my house?" Sabi ko.

Napatingin siya sa akin ng seryoso.

"I was following her. Tailing." Sabi niya. Napataas ang kilay ko.

At least nagsasabi ako ng totoo. Nag-save sila ng innocent people for whom? Who do they work for and for what? Self-esteem? Gaining popularity? There's gotta be a purpose for all these kinds of things.

"If you're thinking about the purpose, there's just one. We save while we can. We don't do illegal jobs." Sabi ni Dustin. "Pero konti lang nakakaintindi."

"You have a gun." I said.

"Legal, one." Sagot niya.

He looks pissed kasi andami kong tanong. When it comes to Dustin I feel like I am just a woman with standards, he doesn't even know I own establishments. And that's fine. At least hindi money ang habol niya. Well, I know what is— sex.
