Matapos naming mag-usap ni Amelie ay natutunan kong ang introvert nga pala ni Dustin. Tahimik siya dito. Hindi siya masyadong nagsasalita. Nagsasalita man ay prangka tapos mindan offensive.

I know he was being a gentleman pero matapos ma-assemble ni Dustin ang gun na hawak niya ay he interrupted with me and Jacob. Kung saan inilagay niya sa kamay ko ang baril na loaded na.
Jacob's eye widened.

I stayed by my position and closed one of my eyes to shoot to the mannequin target 12 feet away from us. With one shot, I hit it— bull's eye.
Jacob made a slow clap and I saw how proud Dustin was.
"Nice one, Alyrani," Meg said while clapping.
Jacob literally has his jaw dropped kasi hindi niya akalaing shooter din ako. Napapangiti nalang ako para naman sabihing humble.
But as they celebrated me being a hunter. It has reminded me of Dad. Hunting reminds me of Dad. Guns remind me of Dad.

"Hey, are you okay?" Dustin must've noticed me spacing out kaya kinumusta niya ako.
"Yeah, I think I wanted to go back inside. Mainit kasi." Sabi ko nalang. Meg, Jacob, and Magsy were left there all alone. Dustin also told them na aalis na kami.
And yep.
"You forgot to tell them that I was pregnant." Sabi ko habang nasa biyahe na kami.
"I am proud always but my squad doesn't have to know." Sabi niya.
Nagmamaneho siya habang nakaroll up ang sleeves niya. Cute.
"Amelie told me that you were suicidal, Dustin."
Dustin didn't answered.
"How come?" Sabi ko.
"I'll answer everything later. Taking you to every place na palagi kong pinupuntahan usually explains it more. Know me better this way, Rani. Just trust me."
Okay. That is a good point.

Nang makarating na kami sa isang bagong bahay ay lumabas na kami sa kotse at Dustin held my hand without even looking at me. It felt so real.
