Chapter Thirteen; Midnight Crack

'I have to inform Jade the great news,' I thought to myself. I was still shocked from what Jake had said. I know I might be over exaggerating it but the word girlfriend kept on ringing in my head.

"You dropped your tongue," his words brought me back from my thoughts.
"No," I defended myself thinking of what was the next thing he would say, "shouldn't you be watching something else,"
"I have something much better and prettier sitting in front of me," his words gave me feel butterflies that fluttered not only in my stomach but also every corner of my body.

"And what's that," I knew he was talking about me but deep down I wanted to here him say it. "I know you know it is you," he said turning his head to face the screen, the angel was just so perfect I could see his dimples that I didn't notice from before, my eyes traced down from his jaw to his to his neck leading to his muscular hairy hands.

I snapped out of my thoughts. "Is it fine if I go use the restroom", I secretly held my phone and placing it my hoodies pocket standing up. I dont know why I asked but I went either without him answering. I locked the bathroom door, got out my phone, closed the toilet seat and sat immediately I entered the door.

I guess its obvious who I am going to text I feel like if this were to be a movie she would appear more the guy Im supposed to be with

I unlocked my phone and found three of her missed calls, I usually leave my phone on silent because I its always in my hand, I guess I am a phone addict, but today I was so busy with Jake that I forgot all about my phone and I think Jade is going to slaughter me. Speak of the devil! I declined the call as soon as I saw her name pop up on my screen since Jade is so stubborn she called each minute I declined the call until I gave in.

'Jade you know I cant talk right now so let us text' I spoke as low as I could but the bathroom walls kept on repeating what I was saying.

'Walls have ears but mine have a mouth I thought rolling my eyes.'

'Why are you whispering? I thought you were home?'

'Yeah I am but I am with Jake, I want to tell you something but cant say it over the phone so bye I am going hang-up' I took my phone from the ear and hit the big red end call button and opening our chat so that I could text everything that had just but it was taking forever to type and it was getting on my nerves.

'Now what if he thinks I am shitting'

As soon as I was done I ran out of the bathroom but the moment I left my room to approach he I started walking elegantly like a princess who has etiquette.

"...alright I will be there soon, " are the first words I had when I placed my first steps in the room. I sat down trying to shut down my urge of wanting to find out who he was talking to.

'He might breakup with me thinking I'm the type of girlfriend of who likes snooping around which I can do if it is necessary'

"Do you want to go out to a party?" He looked at me as if expecting an answer that would make him happy.

'I had never gone to late night parties at all because I was not ready to stress on what I was going to wear, go to someone's place, drink, get tired and exhausted then again pay for my transport and it just never seemed nice in my head only tiring yet I can stay home have my friends come over and drink'

"Yeah sure, I will just go look for an outfit, " I rushed to my closet to look but I was disastrous when it came to dressing myself up.
'Is it only me that can help dress up my friends but when it comes to me I get dumb'

I just grabbed my black leather pants, threw on a small white crop top that flowed with strings at the end with a black leather jacket and for the finale I got my plain white addidas sneakers. This were like my basic clothes that made me feel comfortable.

The journey wasn't that interesting the whole time I was texting Jade about what had happened she had so many questions whereas Jake had his eyes glued on the road.
Cars were parked everywhere in the neighborhood not in the organised manner but it was bearable. The music was throbbing and loud enough to be heard in dreams, people were in every corners you could find some making out others sitting and talking to their friends.
We got out and headed towards the huge fancy house with bright lights that was laying in front of me.

Inside reminded me of the highschool parties that were always illustrated in the movies, the noise the music all blended into one horrible thing, the reek of sweat, alcohol and smoke combined that welcomed you in the suffocating building along with a red carpet of cups that had no straight path, boys flirting with girls and taking them upstairs to finish what they had started.

"I'll go grab us some drinks just have a seat," he directed me to the beautiful huge black couch that was decorated with spilled snacks and drinks. I nodded lightly before resting my ass on the couch. My eyes stayed glued on Jake's back before he got lost in the restless crowd that was continuously making noise until a soft hand rested on my shoulder. "Hey beautiful why are you sitting alone, do you need any company," the voice sounded like a girl trying to forge a man's voice. I turned my head really fast to find out who it was because the suspense was going to kill me.

"Oh my God!! What the heck are you doing here, " I asked Jade hugging her as she joined me on the messy dirty sofa.
"I was so bored at home since you were with your boyfriend and asked Mason if he had any plans and he told me about a party he was going to attend, " she summarized.
"Mason is around?" I asked curiously.
"Yes, " she smiled peering around for any signs of him.
"You can go look for him while I find Jake, " We both stood up heading for different directions.

I searched the kitchen but all I found were people eating and one who disgusted me with his puke.
I went up the stairs the view up was amazing for a house I could see each corner on the ground floor. I gave up on looking for him and decided to look for the restroom because I was dying to go.

It didn't take long for me to find it but I was not quite happy with using a toilet that had been used by so many people but I just had to risk, the soap had the sweet scent of berries.
I got out but I heard two voices arguing about something in the next room, I tiptoed over to the room to find out what was going on but the closer I got the more the sound amplified. The voice sounded so familiar so I couldn't resist to find out who, whether I knew them or not. I stopped my steps when i heard it was suddenly quite, I creeped closer and closer to the door until my eyes got shocked on what they were seeing.
