The sun rise was amusing as always with it's golden touch on everything that laid on both the ground and the sky, I watched it give the artist landscape a final touch with it's rays spreading rapidly. Everything else was blurry each step the car took.

'Hanging out with Mason is entertaining but travelling with him is boring because of the silence, for others it might be peaceful but I love talking, I guess I'm a gossip girl,'

A sudden halt brought me to realization that I had reached home sweet home. I turned to face him and see if he was sad on me leave but his face was as blank as my brain in an exam.

'Someone help me understand why he tries to act tough' I rolled my eyes in despair.

"Why aren't you getting out?" He asked veering his head towards me. "No reason, " I said ejecting my seatbelt as slowly as I could. "It seems like you are stalling, " he stared deeply into my huge hazel eyes, it almost felt like he could see through me all my doubts, insecurities and satisfactions. "No, I just have something that has been bugging me for a while now, "

"Go on, " he stated.
"Why is it that you disappear then come back and repeat the same thing, " I unleashed my curiosity.

'Does he enjoy what he does because the first time we slept together, met in school, had drinks together where we shared a calm conversation, went on a date and shared a moment, but within those occasion he disappears, which leaves with many unanswered questions'

"Right now I cannot answer that question, " I could see him trying to make up excuses. "It's fine if you don't want to tell me, " I pretended but deep down it was eating me alive.
"Are you sure it's fine?", he inquired, "because most girls like saying it's fine when it's not, " he added.
"No, I'm fine, " I tried my best to hide my emotions. "Let me go change into my clothes and return these ones, " I opened the door fixing my left leg out to give me support on the grey tarmac parking space, I stood up shutting it before heading through the entrance of the large white flat. I entered the big elevator waiting for it to make a sound to assure me that I had arrived.

I rushed out heading for my room immediately the elevator started opening up. I quickly placed my key in the huge white door with a golden tag glued on it 'D160'. I remembered I had forgotten the key in the door the moment I reached the living room; I rushed back to the door to take it out. I stomped into the bedroom changing into a black and white African print romper and neatly folded the clothes placing them into black bag from one of my collections of them.

'I know you are wondering where did I get a collection from but I always keep the bags after shopping for clothes for times like this,'

I held the bag in my arms taking out the key, shutting the creaking door. I trotted towards the closing entrance of the polished silver elevator. I stood next to a medium height grey haired woman whose face was filled wrinkles that were screaming out her age on her face, she wore a unique long floral dress with long sleeves ceasing on the wrists exposing her pale white folded skin on her palm.
'Ding' was the sound that pulled me back from drowning deep into my opinions.

I rushed out the building into the parking lot to deliver the clothes to Mason but from a far distance I could spot another figure standing besides Mason. It was similar to Jake's. But I wasn't ready to face him yet. In a blur I saw Mason's fist touch Jake's cheek sending him down to the ground. My heart beat rapidly worried for Jake. I ran as fast as I could to go and find out what was transpiring in front of my sight, I immediately let go of the bag enabling gravity to do its obligations. But before I could get in between them Jake had returned his fist crossing paths with Masons nose.

"Stop why are you fighting?" I could hear my voice shouting just like how my mom used to bark at us when we were quarreling about something that barely made sense.
"No it's nothing, we are alright," I gazed down at Jake with his bruised lips enunciating his unbelievable lies.
"Clearly something is going on here, Mason why did you attack Jake?" I tried acting like the adult I was trying to be but the two children I was trying to understand didn't want to tell me a thing.

'Gosh is this what our parents go through?'

"Why are you on his side," he spit out transferring all his furry on me.
"Now why are you mad at me?" I yelled staring sharply into his soul trying to intimidate him. He opened to utter words but none came out and he furiously got in his car driving away in a rush.

"Jake!! Are you ok," I rushed kneeling besides him trying to lend him a hand. We were able to reach my apartment but almost everyone we met kept on giving us sad and sympathy eyes.

"Let me get you something frozen from the freezer, "I gently lay him down and zoomed to the kitchen to see what was available.
"I have a bag of peas hope that helps," I cried out. I dashed in to my room to pick the first aid kit and try to disinfect the wounds. As I applied it below his lip, he winced in agony.

My mind started drifting slowly as I vividly remembered Mason's facial expression, it was like he was utterly disappointed in my actions and responses I had made today, the way he stormed off made my heart worried, wondering if he had reached safely but for that I needed to hear his voice to prove to myself that I shouldn't be worried or taken up by the moment-the startling memories started to fade back in, his sensational arms that were wrapped around my average waist filled in the pool, the way his remarkable soft lips met mine. It was just incredible!

"Emmy," I heard a distant voice try to catch my attention.
"Emmy!" I startled back to reality.
"You didn't answer my question?" he looked concerned, wondering where my mind was at.
"Sorry what question?" I replied like a lost puppy.

"Why haven't you been replying to my texts or calls and is there anything between you and Mason?"
