"I am going to kill Itachi."
"No! Reo! Don't be reckless!" You exclaimed.
Reo had a piercing look in his eyes and his starure was evident that he was serious with his intentions. "I am sorry, but this is the only way to save (Y/N) from this suffering."
"We don't have orders to do that. Even if we begged the Hokage they would not allow us. Itachi is being used for intel, and besides he is extremely strong and dangerous." You tried to reason with your impatient comrade.
Reo squinted, "So what you're saying is that Itachi is stronger than you?"
You sighed, "I don't know that. But his genjutsu is stronger than anyone I know. I wouldn't be surprised if I got caughted even while possessing a sharingan myself. It is far too dangerous for you. I recommend you drop this thought."
"I was not asking for your permission, Senpai. This is what I am supposed to do. And even if I don't have orders for this, they wouldn't punish me for killing a criminal. Please don't follow me." Reo turned away.
You called out, "Reo! It is impossible to find, let alone defeat him!"
"Then I will struggle till I do. Take care of (Y/N). Don't let her leave." He waved and as soon as he turned away, you heard a shakey voice from behind you.
"Reo, wait!"
He couldn't help but freeze and you so did you.
"Ri!" He rushed to support (Y/N)'s wobbly balance before you could make a move yourself. "What are you doing out of bed? You should not move at all. You-"
"Reo! Kakashi senpai. I need a favor from the two of you." (Y/N) frowned. She appeared to be hurting.
"What? I mean ofcourse! What do you want Ri?" Reo was again the first to react.
She looked at him and then over at you, taking some time while breathing heavily. "I want to quit this mission. Can you please take me to the Hokage so I can ask him to dismiss me of these duties?"

Both you and Reo were taken by a never to be expected surprise but were more than happy to hear those words from her.
You looked into her eyes with gratitude and relief "(Y/N)! Yes. Let's go right now. That is, if you would let me carry you."
She nodded while Reo almost broke down. "Thank you, Ri. Thank you so much!" As soon as Reo let go of her, you picked her up with both arms and left immediately.

"Are you sure about this, (L/N)? You have devoted years to this. And I did not expect you to give up." The Hokage was staring into (Y/N) eyes while questioning her morals.
