"Calm down! Your chakra is unstable. Concentrate and try again." You ordered.
"I know!" Your student exclaimed in annoyance.
You sighed and crouched down next to the young Uchiha.
"It has only been two weeks Sasuke, I don't expect you to perfect Chidori since it took me years to do it myself."
He crumbled the piece of rock in his hand. "I don't have that kind of time."
You averted your gaze from his side. "We still have two more weeks before the final round of Chunin exams. So, I believe if you-"
"I don't care about the Chunin exam, Kakashi." He grunted.
Being aware of the Last Uchiha's goals and intentions, there was no reason for you to question him further.
Sasuke on the other hand, had an uncomfortable question for you. "When was the last time he appeared?"

You stood up and walked over to the edge of the rocky cliff.
As much as you wanted to forget, the memories were crystal clear from all the events that took place two years ago.
"The six tailed beast attack outside our borders. Two years ago." You responded dryly.
"So there is no record of him or his movements in these last two years?" The boy asked from behind.
This time, it took you a while to answer, "That is correct, unless Lord Jiraiya has managed to gathered any intel recently."
"And what about (Y/N)? Is she still on his side?", He asked.

The winds were getting crisper by the day as the winters approached making you feel depreived of warmth inside out.

"I can not think of a possibility where she wouldn't be."

______Time skip to Post-Chunin exams______

Yet another day had passed since Orochimaru's attack and the Third's demise. The aftermath was still unsettling.

"The intel devision is done extracting information from all captives of the attack. Uncle Inoichi says they still couldn't find Orochimaru's hide out." Reo updated Team K while surveying the village's borders.
"This is the site of the Boa's attack." Tenzo pointed. "I'd like to assist with the wall repair here."
"I'll help too." Reo insisted.
"See you both." You nodded and paced ahead along the border.

"Kakashi!" Guy called from the tree top. "It's an emergency! He's in the village!"

It didn't take you long to act on the matter as you followed the fellow jonin. 'He' could only be the reference for one person in the case of you and your comrades. This 'He' was related to another 'She', a very significant someone who was hardly addressed or brought up in these last years by anyone around you.

"Him and another Akatsuki member have infiltrated the villlage. Asuma and Kurenai are facing them. I have no other information yet." Guy updated the situation and soon you were upon them.

"Kakashi Senpai." Said the shorter man wearing a black cloack and straw hat.
A chill ran through your spine as you faced the person who took everything from you. Somehow to your amusement, you remained calm.

"Don't look him in the eyes! Stay back, I will take him on." You proclaimed.
Guy powered up to 3 gates and announced, "I will take the fish man!"

Your opponent took off his hat and smirked flaunting his bright red orbs. "No greetings?"
You clicked your tongue while uncovering your sharingan to meet the two he possessed.
"For you Itachi, I only have death."

The Uchiha grinned at your statement, "You told your friends to not look me in the eye, but I see that you don't take the same warning for your own."

"That is because I will defeat you right here and now." You reverted before making hand signs and running towards him with lightening blade.

Much to your dismay, you did not last long against Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan and fell under Tsukuyomi, courtesy of his genjutsu mastery.

Kakashi: Where? Wha-
Itachi: This will hurt but I am sure you can bear it. You've been hurt several times. You must be used to it by now.
Kakashi: *struggles* I loathe you!
Itachi: You should remain calm. You will be trapped here for days. Try preserving your sanity.
Kakashi: *Grunts in pain*
Itachi: You have some questions for me, I presume?
Kakashi: None.
Itachi: Not even about-
Kakashi: I have one about her.
Itachi: *Smirks* Go ahead.
Kakashi: Is she happy with you?
Itachi:  *Slowly approaches Kakashi and stabs him with a sword*  Very much so.

_______Time Skip_______

"Jiraiya-sama!" You looked up at him with concern.
"Don't worry Kakashi. I took care of those two. But Itachi did manage to traumatize Sasuke again. Both physically and emotionally." He answered.
"I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy!" You cried. "I was subjected to Itachi's Tsukuyomi a few days back. It will be a while before Sasuke wakes up."
Jiraiya put his hand on your shoulder and exhaled. "I know how it feels when your students get hurt. But Itachi will not be showing himself around here anytime soon." He rubbed his chin and followed, "Those black flames however, do concern me."

You were cold blooded as ever, but after all these years thoughts regarding (Y/N) still seemed to linger.
"So. It seems she doesn't follow him around."

"Doesn't seem like it. She is a ghost for all we know." The Toad Sage uttered.

You looked down at the wounded younger Uchiha sibling who unconsciously laid on the hospital bed.
"She is happy with him. That's what Itachi told me."
With this you gained all of Jiraya's attention.

"She is associated with a criminal, so she is one herself." You turned firmly to face the tall Sannin.
"And if they hurt my students, or as much as happen to cross paths with me again, I will kill the both of them."

(Y/N)'s POV

"You're late."
You whispered into the air as a figure appeared from behind.
Itachi walked over and found a spot next to you.
"The view is beautiful from up here." He admired earning a nod from you.

"(Y/N)?" He called breaking the long peaceful silence.
When you didn't respond, the Uchiha's face fell and he restlessly confessed while looking at you. "I had to put him in Tsukuyomi."
You met his gaze as a tear rolled down from your eye. "I saw."
He broke the eye contact out of guilt and neither of you spoke till the sunset.
