Adora and i could not stop laughing and talking.
The sun was setting already and she showed me a way.
The way to the dorms roofs.
ITS A 15 STORY BUILDING!
I looked down, "Wow, it feels-" "Pretty cool eh?" Adora asked with a smile.
I sat down on the edge.
Adora sat next to me.
"This is nice.." I smiled.
She nodded, "Yeah..." she whispered, air rushed through us.
"So..." I whispered, "What is your plan after this?" I asked, "We can eat dinner at the dinning room-" "No I mean after school, what are you planning on doing with your life?" I asked.
She looked at the sky, "I don't even know.." she whispered, "I just... try to stick to being perfect and apply for everything, even if I hate it." she explained.
"I do not know.. if I am going to even have one." she said.
"That is not true." I said quietly.
"It is... I am a big blah.." she said and played with her fingers nervously.
I grabbed her hand, "It takes time to know what you want." I said quietly. "It took time for me to know what I wanted ya know, and for a second I did not want to even be here." I whispered.
She looked at my eyes, "Y/N..." she whispered in shock.
"I am getting better." I smiled and fully faced my legs towards her.
Her face got closer.
"Glad you are.." she said quietly.
"Getting better from what?" we both turned around.
Glimmer.
"I was waiting in front of your dorm, you never appeared, so I figured you would be in OUR spot." Glimmer glared at me.
"Oh wow, didn't know people owned property, but I guess since it is you it's an exception, I mean, you are the principals daughter huh~" I teased.
She walked in front of me and bent down.
"Remember how fast Adora got your teacher fired? Well imagine how fast I can get you out of this school?" she smirked.
I got up.
"Typical principals daughter." I said as I was about to walk away.
"Y/N! Wait-" Adora grabbed my hand, "Are you really going to put our 10 year friendship go to waist for HER?!?" Glimmer asked.
I looked at Adora.
Adora squeezed my hand tightly.
Almost like she was going to not let go-
She released my hand.
I turned to Glimmer, "See! You have nothing against me now." she said.
My phone vibrated, I looked at it.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Y/N! I need your help! Something happened and it's making everyone go crazy!" she said through the phone.
I looked at Adora who was looking down, "I will be there in 10." I said before hanging up.
I knew friendships never last forever.
But I thought this one would.
