Destination: The park
POV: Catra's
I bought a coffee, well cold one, like me, cause today was kinda chilly, and I want to put a blanket in the grass of the park and lay down, to chill while listening to music.
Well, while I was doing that, I put on my shades to feel the cloudy sun not hitting my eyes, stay protected kids.
And I decided to close my eyes, but for some reason, I felt the shade, get shadier.
I opened my eyes and saw a figure of a girl.
"Hi, yes, can you move." I demanded, the girl sighed, I got impatient and took off my shades, "What do you-" I saw Glimmer.
"Glimmer-" "Catra-" she interrupted.
She stopped, she didn't know what to say.
"What do you want sparkles?" I asked in disgust.
She bent down, "Your help." she said quietly, like if it was that hard to say.
I can't even complain, I would never want to ask her for help.
"What do you mean? Are you asking or blackmailing me? Cause last time you did both." I said as I put my shades back in my eyes and laid down.
"In fact, I don't even care! You have nothing against me! So like, whatever you wanna make me do, just remember, you are now all alone, and that was all on you." I added.
I heard someone sniffling.
I took off my shades and saw her crying quietly.
I didn't know if this was a setup to make me feel bad or real, either way, I was somehow worried.
"I-I know I fucked up." Glimmer finally said, "And very badly, I got innocent people involved, and a building, and I am ready to face the consequences." she said as she sniffed.
She turned to me, "But.... I want to be a better person, and I am all alone now.." she said quietly.
"Hell yeah you are." I said, after like, 20 seconds, I realized what she was saying.
"Oh- no. No no no no no no, no." I repeated, "Please Catra! I know I fucked up with you the most, especially cause we just met, but I know you can maybe... help me-" "What makes you think I want to help someone like YOU?" I asked.
She looked down, "I mean... I know I don't deserve a second chance but..." "HEY KID!" I yelled at a random kid to come over and gave him my phone, "Stay just like that Glimmer!" I said as I posed and faced the camera, blowing a kiss at it while Glimmer was looking down, kind of bowing to me.
"Take a picture... just like that." I hear the snap, "Thanks weirdo!" I told the kid and grabbed my phone.
I turned to Glimmer, "Now, I am not a good person myself, neither do I want to be your friend." I started.
"But, I know right now it is hard for you to go through things alone cause you were always handed crap, so, all I can do is stand next to you for now." I finished.
Glimmer looked up and smiled slowly, "What?" I asked.
She tackled me with a hug.
"Thank you thank you thank you thank you!" she repeated.
"Ugh! Let go Sparkles! I don't do hugs!" I said as I pushed her away, she was laughing.
I rolled my eyes.
