Destination: Y/N's Room
POV: Third Person
Y/N grew up in a neutral environment.
The problems in her life did not affect her until she grew up.
She always wanted to grow up as a child to live the teenage dreams they describe to her.
Before she got in the fire to save Catra, she realized, she was never going to have that teenage dream.
And she will never get that peace ever again.
Y/N fainted from all the smoke she breathed in.
When she got stuck in the fire, she thought this was it, she was going to go and see her parents.
She didn't care honestly, she just wanted to be out of the world.
She saw no point.
No future.
They rushed her into the hospital once the ambulance arrived.
Adora tried staying by her side the whole time.
After a while, her eyes opened and she saw Adora sleeping on the chair.
"A-Adora-" she tried to get up, Adora quickly woke up and laid her down.
"Hey! Slow down! I am here.." Adora said quietly, "You.. came back?" Y/N asked.
Adora's eyes got watery.
"Hey- don't cry!" Y/N said sitting up, "I am so sorry Y/N! I don't know what would have happened if I didn't show up-" Y/N pulled her down for a hug.
Adora laid down on Y/N's chest and started crying.
"Hey! It's gonna be okay... I am still here.." Y/N brushed her hair out, Adora hugged Y/N back as they laid down.
"I just want you to be okay Y/N.. I didn't mean to hurt you or feel... alone." Adora whispered.
Y/N kissed the top of her head, "It's okay Adora..." she whispered back.
Adora stood there quietly, still eyes full of tears.
"I'm going to be fine Adora, we're both still here, that is all that matters." Y/N said quietly.
Adora looked up at Y/N.
"I never meant to walk away.." Adora explained.
"It's okay if you never came to me anyways." Y/N smiled, "If I am alone or not, whatever happens will not be anyone's fault." Y/N explained.
Adora stayed quiet.
"I just want you to be safe.." Adora finally said.
Y/N smiled, "I want you to be okay Adora, I don't want you to worry about me. Right now you should worry about your life." Y/N said.
"You are in my life though Y/N! I want to protect you and care for you-" Y/N held both of her hands to Adora's face.
"I appreciate you for that." Y/N smiled. Y/N helped Adora take off her jacket and saw burns from pushing the things that were on fire to save her.
"Adora.." "I am fine.. all that mattered was you." Adora said still a little teary.
Y/N grabbed a wipee and cleaned off the blood.
She disinfected the burn then grabbed vaseline and put it on her arm.
"I cannot believe you did that.." Y/N said quietly.
"Like I said, all that mattered was you." Adora said.
Y/N smiled, "Well you should start taking care of yourself troublesome." Y/N smiled at Adora.
Adora's eyes stopped tearing up.
"Your a mess you know that." Y/N smiled.
"I know." Adora said as she leaned to Y/N's forehead.
Y/N chuckled.
"I wish time could go slower not gonna lie so I can be with you like at times like these." Y/N said.
Adora looked at Y/N's eyes.
"What? Do I have something in my face?" Y/N asked.
"Yeah.." Adora said quietly before she leaned in and kissed her lips.
Adora pulled away after 5 seconds.
Y/N's eyes widened.
"I-I'm sorry! I have to go.." Adora said before crying again and walking out.
Y/N looked down at her legs.
'What just happened?' she thought to herself.
Did she just.. get kissed?
