Hello! Bonjour! I'm Myra ( @myrawritess ). In February 2020, I met a very sweet girl with similar interests on the internet — Alice. The idea of writing a book with someone with a major timezone difference as me had never struck my mind, so I want to thank Alice for coming up with this idea! Since March 7th, 2020, Alice ( PlumeAlice ) and I have been getting together every weekend to work on our book, Flooded Waters. It has been a long, tiring, but fun journey! This book is about two girls, Mabel Shelman and Alina Henderson, as they navigate through their teenage life. Flooded Waters is a story about love, overcoming your fears, and finding yourself. Both Alice and I are super excited for you guys to read it! Writing a book with someone else is definitely tough, but I'm glad that we pulled through. Our writing process is very confusing but somewhat makes sense. Alice wrote all of Mabel's point of views and I wrote all of Alina's point of views. Both of Mabel's and Alina's point of views + some additional character point of views are in each chapter. We will be posting Flooded Waters on both of our accounts separately and will be updating the chapters the same day. I hope you enjoy reading this book just as much as Alice and I had writing it. Without further ado, here is our story!!!
