Wolf Valley Saga: Coming Home

Evan walks around the truck and opens my door offering his hand I place my hand in his and step out of the truck. He places his hand around my waist resting his palm at the small of my back.

We walk into Sam's there are a lot of people in a circle only faces I recognize is Sam, Chase,  and Nevaeh

Sam instructs me"Kendra please come stand in the middle of the circle for me please?"I do as he requests even if the situation is making me uneasy. As I stand there they chant in unison I am beyond worried at this point. When they are through chanting and he breaks the circle Sam tells me to have a seat so I sit on the sofa. He sits down on the sofa beside me and begins to explain.

"Kendra when you came here all I could mainly see was all the pain you were holding in. It was so intense it covered everything else going on. But in the past couple of hours so much has been revealed. Kendra, you must make your way back home and save your pack you will be able to deal with Rane when you get back home. There is a wizard in your town that has put a spell on your pack that by the end of the week your pack will be nonexisting if he has his way. They are in grave danger Kendra and it is upto you to save them. There are some friends of mine that will accompany you home.They have been looking for a place that needs their gifts and they will come in handy to your pack.Kendra this is Luna and her brother Sebastian. Luna is a powerful witch and  Sebastian is a Shaman. Remember the legend I told you specific to your pack the time is nigh Kendra so go pack and be on your way. We love you Kendra and you are welcomed back to visit anytime."

"Sam what if I can't handle Rane?"

"Kendra remember what Chase has taught you running in your wolf form heals the heart now is the time to be brave and go fulfill your destiny you will be ok ."I go pack to hit the road to head back home which is what I was dreading.

"Luna and Sebastian I have to stop and get someone on the way back ok?"

Sebastian replies "That is fine with us V and please call me Bash I insist."

"Well then Bash it is."

I grab my phone and call Allie she answers first ring

"Hey Kendra you still healing?"she asks in her nosey way.

"Allie I am on my way home are you coming with me?" she starts screaming through the phone.

"Well I am on my way to pick you up I have been in the Smokies this whole time so get your bags ready see you in a bit." I hang up the phone .

Allie calls Dane.

"Dane V has been in the Smokies this whole time she is on her way to get me and we are headed to Bridgeport so turn around and you and Rane go back home we will see you in a few days love you."

"Are you serious V has not been that far from you in the first place and she's coming home and bringing you with her love you more Bae bye."They both hang up the phone and Dane looks over at his brother in the drivers seat. Rane whips the truck around with out hesitation and heads back home good thing they hadn't passed into Nevada territory yet.

"She's coming home Dane she is finally coming back home I can't wait to explain everything to her."

Dane asks Rane "do you think it will go that easy Rane I mean when she left she was broken I just don't want you getting your hopes up is all what if she has moved on with that guy Chase I am just saying."Rane reaches over and smacks him in the back of the head .

An hour later I am pulling up to Allie's gate and punching the code in and driving thru the gate.As I pull up in front of the house Allie comes running out.I get out of the car so I can hug her.

"Oh V, you really do look good. Whatever you done in the Smokies looks good on you.Is your heart healed?"

"Yes it has mended since I left here Allie.I would like to introduce you to some new friends of mine. This is Luna and Bash they are coming with us the more the the merrier right."I giggle squeezing her and putting her bag in the car.As we head home.I keep thinking about how will I feel when I see Rane will all that pain come back up or?"Bash interrupts my train of thoughts.

"V you are going to do great don't worry I will be here to help Sam told me everything."

I look back over my shoulder at Bash and mouth thank you Bash.He nods his head and mouths back at me your welcome. Allie as usual nonstop chitter chatter but Luna and Bash didn't seem to mind.That night we stop at a motel we still had a two day drive ahead of us.Everyone is getting ready for bed I walk outside and walk down to sit by the pool I was restless just the thought of going back and seeing him thats when I heard my wolf  telling me "Don't worry V our walls are up He is not gonna penetrate these walls again we have to protect our self right ?" That had been the first time she had talked to me in what seem like forever but in a moment I knew it really was going to be ok.I look up and Allie is sitting down in the lounge chair opposite of me.

"V are you ok really you seem so deep in thought?" Allie asks as she sits.

"I am Allie just a lot to think about is all when I was up in the Smokies my heart felt so free but heading back home does cause me to worry but I know that I am strong enough to do this.I just have to be, know what I mean?"

"V before you get back home there is something you need to know about Rane "

I stand up before that name comes fully out of her mouth.I lash out at her"No Allison I don't wanna hear anything about him,do I make myself clear."I go back up to my room.Bash knocks on my hotel door I let him in.

"I know you don't wanna talk about him but you do know you are mear hours from being face to face with him so maybe you do need to at least say something about him to someone that is in a neutral space someone that only knows you is all I am saying V."

"Oh Bash what if I see him and all the pain comes rushing back is the only thing I keep thinking about but my wolf promises the walls are up and she will not let him hurt us again."

"V what is your fondest memory of  the Smokies?"

"That is easy the time I spent with Evan."

"Well I want you to hold on to that memory real tight  let it guide you thru the pain"

"Ok Bash that is what I will do, thanks a lot Bash." I fall asleep after mine and Sebastians talk.
