CHAPTER 37

As I can see, my prince charming is waiting for me at the end of the stairs. I smiled at him and I'm sure his jaw dropped. "Hey beautiful" he whispered on my left ear and that totally gave shivers through my spine. "Hi handsome" I replied. "May I take this gorgeous lady's hand?" "Please" I said as he grabbed my hand and kissed it. I know, too cheesy right? But just like I wanted to. We both went to the living room with our hands interwined. Everybody was there, mom, dad, mommy Joan, daddy Mark, Riley, and Connor with Reychel.

"Awe, you two look cute together!" mommy Joan exclaimed and both of our cheeks went red. "You look beautiful my dear" Mommy Joan came up to me and gave me a hug. "Thanks, mom" "Well, my son here is too lucky to found you" daddy Mark said as he also went in for a hug. I went to Riley and he grinned. "You look...different" he said. "I know" I chuckled then he gave me a kiss on the cheeks.

Everyone took pictures but then Toby grabbed me by my waist. "I want to give you something" he said as he took out a small box from his pocket. He opened the box and showed up a beautiful necklace with a letter E on it. He came over behind me and put on the necklace. "Toby, this is too much already" "Shh. Don't mind" "Are you sure?" "Absolutely" then he hugged me from behind.

"Ella, Toby, Riley, we gotta go" Connor said as we all went out the house. "Take care, sweetie" mom said and beside her was dad with teary eyed. "Dad" I said trying to hold on my laugh. "I just can't believe my baby girl is seriously growing up" he said between sniffs. "I'll always be your baby, daddy" he pulled me into a hug then he kissed the top of my head. "Have fun, but not too much fun, Okay?" he said and I nodd. I hugged them both and finally walked with Toby which he was waiting for me, to the car

"Wow, never seen your dad cry" "I know!" we both laughed and got in inside the car. Connor was driving so Reychel was at the passengers seat and I got in at the back seat in the middle of Riley and Toby. Music was blasting inside the car as we drove in to school.

"Okay..and..we're here!" Connor excalimed right when he parked the car. We all got out and fix ourselves for a moment. "Hey. I need to go. I still need to organize some stuff" Reychel said and Connor grabbed her wrist. "I'll come with you" Connor insisted. "Oh no. I'll be back" "Nah, you're my date and I should always be at your side" Reychel looked at me and I nodd and smiled at her. "Hey brothers. Meet ya later. Okay?" Then they both nodd and Connor and Reychel walked their way.

"So, May I?" Toby raised a hand and I gladly accepted it. "Come on, Riley. We better go" I said and Riley followed us from behind as we walked to the school's court where the dance will be held.

"Hey. I'm meeting Thomas here. We'll catch up" Riley said as he stood outside. "I'll just contact you later" Toby said and he nodd. We both went in and a guy gave us a wrist band with a flower on it. Toby wrapped it around my right wrist and I wrapped the other on his left wrist. As we went in, a lot of students are already at the dance floor.

They decorated the whole place beautiful, with all the lights and the music was really loud and there was also a disco ball above. "Woah" I was speechless and so do Toby. "This is really amazing" Toby said as we looked around "But not as amazing as you" he added but I playfully punched his arm. "What? It's true though. You look really...not you this night" He freakishly smiled at me. "what do you mean not me?" "I mean, with you wearing make-up, you totally look beautiful. But all I'm saying even if you look different, you'll always be the Ella that I love since the first day I laid my eyes on you" I punched his arm again. "What was that for?" "It's too cheesy" I said then he laughed, so I just walked away infront of him.

"Hey Ella!" I heard he called out and came running beside me but I just ignored him. "Where are you going?" he asked. "I'm looking for some seats" and exactly I saw a table with four chairs and I sat on one chair for a while. "Don't you like to dance?" Toby stood up infront of me. "I don't dance" I said with disappointment. "Nah, come on!" Toby tried to pull my arms but his phone rang, so he let go of my arm and answered his phone.
