CHAPTER 34

ELLA'S POV

The next day, I woke to my phone ringing beside me. I took it and answered it. "H-Hello?" "Oh hey, Ella. It's me Nathan" "Oh hey Nate. Its been a long time since I heard your voice"  he sarcastically laugh. "Yeah, you also. So, how are you?" he ask. "Great, actually. How about you?" "Fine too. Well, are you busy today?" he asked. "Uhm. I don't know. Toby hasn't been calling me since last night" I said. "Oh. Just wanted to hang with you, if that's okay" "Of course. I'll just call you back" "Okay then" he said and I hung up.

I started to dial Toby's number and within 4 rings he answered but mostly he does answer his phone with in 2 to 3 rings. "Hey" he greeted but it sounded not Toby. "Connor? I asked. "Hey Ella" "Where's Toby?" I asked. "He went to the mall and I think he left his phone" he said. "Well, tell him I called. Okay?" "Sure" "Bye" then I hung up.

I started to call Nathan again and he answer it. I told him that I'm available and he said he'll pick me up at 10 and the clock reads quarter to 9.

So I head to the bathroom and took a shower. After that, I wore a pink top with a white cardigan on, black shorts, and my white converse. I blow dried my hair and just simply let its natural straight. Then the clock reads five minutes before 10 so I just took my black purse and head downstairs.

I saw mom in the kitchen as I greeted her and exactly the doorbell rang and I told mom bye and gave her a kiss in the cheeks before I went to the door.

"Hey" Nathan smiled as I opened the door. "Hey Nate" "So shall we?" he asked and I nodd as I follow him to his car. Being the gentleman he is, he opened door at the passengers seat for me then he went to the driver's seat.

"So, where do you want to go?" he asked and I shrugged. "I really don't feel walking around" I said as he looked at me. "what if we just take out in taco bell and just head to the park?" I asked. "Well, fine with me" he smiled as he started the car and drove off to the nearest taco bell.

Nathan went to order for us but I just stayed inside the car. I look at my phone at few times incase Toby calls. What is he busy about that he just forgot to call me since last night.

"Ella?" "Oh sorry, I was just thinking" "about what?" Nathan asked "nevermind" then he nodds I as I took the bag from him.

As we parked the car I decided to text Toby.

To Prince Toby: Hey, are you busy? Just call me if you have time.

After I press sent I got out of the car. "Are you okay?" Nathan asked and I nodd.

We sat in a bench at the park as we ate our tacos. They were a lot of children running and playing around and there were also couples walking around with their hands interwined.

"So Ella" I look at Nathan. "How are you and Toby?" he asked. "Good, fine" I said. "Are you two..like..together..boyfriend and girlfriend?" he asked and I look down. "oh. I shouldn't have asked that" he said. "Nah, that's fine" I said still looking down. "Wait, by the way Nathan, why are you at Tampa when you said you cannot come with us because you're helping your dad?" I look at him as I wait for an answer. "Well, dad re-scheduled his proposal next month, so I decided to join you guys in Tampa. I stopped by at the park while I tried to call you and Reychel but I can't contact you both. Until there, I caught you crying" he explained. "Oh" I said trying to get off the topic.

We talked for an hour until Trisha called. "Sup" I said as I answered. "will you come with me to the mall? Please?" she begged as I laughed because of her cute voice. "Fine. What time?" I ask. "Right now. I'll meet you infront of Forever21" "Okay. I'm on my way. Bye" "Bye" then we hung up.

"Hey Nathan" "Yeah?" "Will you drive me to the mall? Trisha wanted me to come with her" " Sure" he said as we both got up and took our trash and threw it in a trash bin.

We hopped into his car and went our way to the mall.

"you should join us" I said. "Oh no. I can't handle two girls, especially Trisha" he said and I laughed. Trisha is one of those cute but crazy girls I met. "Fine. Thanks by the way" "Nah. Thank you also. T'll next time" he said and I nodd. "T'll next time" I said as I got out the car.

I went inside the mall and met Trisha infront of Forever21.

"Elllyy!" she said running up to me. "Elly? Since when did you call me that?" "I like to call you that" I laughed and gave her a hug.

"So, what are we doing here?" I asked. "I just wanted someone to come with me to pick up my dress" she said. "for the dance?" I asked and she nodds.

We went into this boutique store as Trisha went to get her dress. "Here it is!" she exclaimed as she raised the paper bag and I tried to shut her up because there were people looking at us. "Let me look" I said as she took a wonderful blue long dress from the bag. "Wow. Seems to fit all over your curves" "Yeah I know" she said as she puts it back inside the bag.

"Where do you wanna eat?" she asked as we walked out the store but something caught my attention. "uhm. Hey Ella?" "T-to-toby" I stutter as I saw Toby and Liz kinda far from us but I saw them walking and they both seen smilling and laughing.

"I-I need to he-head ho-home" my eyes started to water as Trisha look at me worriedly. "I'll come with you" "No, no need. Call Reychel or Sammy. I r-really need to go home" "No. I'll come with you just to be sure you're safe" I didn't argue anymore so I just nodd. We took a cab and directly went to my house.
