CHAPTER 16

Liz just raised an eyebrow at me.

"Ella, Ella, Ella, I can't believe Toby replaced me with a girl like you"

A shocked expression was plastered on my face since I wasn't really expecting that attitude from her.

"No he didn't. He never replaced you" I respond back

"Oh yeah, you're right. He just made you his temporary 'bestfriend' so that he could hang out with someone"

I remained quiet. Those words hurts, a lot.

"I'm right. Am I? If I didn't moved to Mexico, would he even hang out with you?"

Seriously, I really want to slap that big mouth of hers but I felt so weak that I couldn't even move my body.

"Now that I'm here. Do you even think that Toby will ever come closer to you again? Let me remind you again, he just USED you. So don't even expect anymore from him. He'll be mine and soon you know, we're morethan being bestfriends."

Then she just walked away while I just remained standing frozen. Her words badly hits me. I don't even know why I got affected by that. Was all she said was true? I was on my deep thoughts but then my phone rang

Nathan's calling

"Hey" he greeted

"Oh. Hi"

"Are you home already?" he asked

"Uhm. Still on my way though. I just stopped at... my aunt's house" I replied while walking out from the school campus

"Oh Okay. We're just starting to do the project. So, I'll talk to you later. Be safe, okay?"

"Okay. Bye"

"Bye"

TOBY'S POV

So after class I directly went home because my brothers called me for a band meeting.

"I'm hooome!" I exclaimed as I entered the door

"Oh hi sweetie" my mom greeted

"Mom, where's Connor and Riley?" I asked

"They're at the studio" Mom replied as I directly went upstairs. We have our own studio in the house, so it would be easy for us to record some songs if ever we like or wanted to.

I entered the studio room and saw my bothers, Thomas, and Ryan.

"Wussup" I greeted

"Atlast!" Thomas exclaimed

"so, what are we gonna talk about today?" I asked

"Actually, you're the only one left that needs to know this" Connor started

"I'm pregnant" Riley said seriously. Then we all died on the floor from laughing.

"Okay okay. Back to the point... We'll be having a US tour for a month" Connor said

"So, we'll be leaving this weekend. Toby, mom already talked to your principal, and we'll start the band practice tomorrow afternoon" Riley explained

I don't know if I must be happy nor sad. I was already planning about fixing things with Ella but how can I even do that when I'm far away from her?

All I know, she gets very upset everytime we're on tour, even if it only takes for a month. That's why I always tell her a week or even a month before our tour starts.

I just don't know on how to approach her, especially if we'll be leaving her for a 1 month tour.

"Toby?" Riley said trying to get my attention

"Yeah?"

"Can I talk to you for a second?" He asked

"Spill it"

"So, are you and Ella still not okay?" he asked and I went to a deep sigh

"No. I was planning of making things this week or next, but we'll be leaving for tour" I explained

"So, what are you gonna do about it? If she'll know that you'll be leaving for a month without telling her, you know what happens"

"I know. I just don't know" I said looking down

"Do you want me to tell her?" Riley offered

I was thinking about saying 'no' because I want myself to be the one that will tell her so that I could also talk to her. But I don't think this would be the right time.

"Okay" I replied

"Are you sure?"

"Yes" I replied.

"Well, okay. And by the way, do you know Liz's father?"

wait, is that a random question?

"Yeah. He works in LA as a talent manager"

"Name?" he gave me his questioning look

"Okay, what's up with the questions?"

"Just answer!" he exclaimed then Connor, Thomas and Ryan looked at us which the three of them are working on some things for the upcoming tour.

"Uhm, Daniel Franta, I think. Why do you even ask?"

"So Mr. Franta or I might say Liz's father will be handling our US tour huh" Riley said in a sass tone

"seriously?"

"Connor! Who's gonna manage our tour this month?" Riley asked

"Some guy named Mr. Daniel Franta. We'll be meeting him tomorrow" Connor replied

They don't know Liz's father since they never met him before and Liz doesn't really much talk about her father but by chance I got to meet mr. Franta since I visit more often Liz before.

"Boys! Dinner is ready" mom said

Then we all went downstairs and directly to the kitchen.

Well, most of all we talked about the tour and destinations. Then mom had told the others that Mr. Daniel is Liz's father.

After dinner, Thomas and Ryan went home and I directly went to my room and opened twitter

After that I turned off my phone and drifted to sleep.
