CHAPTER 15

ELLA'S POV

Riiiiiiiing

Monday, another day to start the school week. Of course, I did my usual routine.

I went downstairs, to the kitchen then grab a box of  cereal.

So I might walk to school alone huh. I know Toby wouldn't even just show up like nothing was happening.

Ding dong

A sudden ring of our doorbell. I walked up to the door with my feet shaking.

As i opened the door

Nathan showed up. I was disappointed but nahh who am I to expect that Toby will just show up infront of me?

"Hey" he smiled.

"hey" I smiled back. Hope this is not awkward for him tho.

"So, can we come to school together?" he asked

"Sure" I replied

"Are you still having your breakfast?"

"nahh I'm done"

"Can we go?"

"sure. Wait, I'll just get my bag"  I went upstairs to my bedroom and took my bag.

We went out of the house and went inside his car and drove off to school.

Silence filled us both inside the car. Maybe it's just too awkward because of what happen last saturday during our so called 'date'.

We arrived at school as Nathan parked his car. We went out then the both of us head our way into our chemistry class since we're lab partners.

We entered the room together then Toby and Liz's laughs caught my attention. Guess Toby is happy with Liz now.

Toby's eyes landed on mine but I just looked away but still standing frozen. Someone suddenly grabs my hand, Nathan. Then he pulls me as we went to our lab table and exactly our teacher came in.

TOBY'S POV

I woke up early and got myself ready for another day at school. So this might be a day that I won't be going to school with Ella.

I was about to go out and walk to school but suddenly Riley came running down the stairs

"Toby! Are you leavin' for school?"

"Yes and why did you wake up this early? I thought 'sleeping' was the favorite thing you want to do"

"You talk a lot. You need a ride?"

"Sure but where the hell are you really going?" I asked

"Somewhere... Ugh let's just go!"

As I stepped out, I saw Nathan standing infront of Ella's door. I felt my body getting numb as I stare across the street.

"Hey" Riley snapped me out

"What?"

"Get in, now"

Then I went in and Riley drived me to school.

Buzz...

My phone suddenly buzzed

From Liz: Hey Toby! GoodMorning! :3

I smiled. Bringing back the old and usual us.

To Liz: GoodMorning too Lizzyyyy! :D

From Liz: Are you already at school?

To Liz: On my way. And you?

From Liz: I'm already here at chem lab and I feel such a loner :(

To Liz: Don't worry I'm coming ;)

From Liz: yay! Alert pls I'm waiting xp

I didn't reply anymore as Riley stopped the car so I went out and said 'bye' to him and directly head my way to chemistry lab.

I went in and saw bunch of students sitting and talking. Then I saw Liz sitting and not talking to anyone.

"Hey!" I greeted

"Hey. You walked too fast" she laughed

"Riley drive me here. I don't even know why he woke up so early and didn't even told me where's he going"

"Oh"

Then we continued talking which class will start in about 30 min.

"Do you still remember the time when I took your snapback and I dropped it and you almost killed me?" Liz said laughing

"Hey! That was my precious snapback. No one hurts my baby" I said in a childish tone then she laughed. Flashing back those moments makes me laugh also.

Then randomly I turn my head on the other side and right through it my eyes landed on her, Ella, but she suddenly looked away. Then Nathan grab her hand and I decided to look away.

So this might be awkward. I just want me and Ella to be okay but I don't even know how to make things out.

Maybe there will be a right time that I'll be able to approach her.

ELLA'S POV

So classes just went by so fast. I didn't even mind Toby and Liz. I mostly hang out with the gang, and of course Toby is not with us. He's now hanging out with Liz and Liz's friends.

"Hey Ella, we're going to Lanz's house to work with some projects, wanna come?" Trisha asked

"Uhm, I think I'll just head home"

"I'll take you home" Nathan insisted

"What? We need you bro" Eric said

"Don't mind me, you should go with them, they need you" I said to Nathan

"No, I'll take you home wether you like it or not" Nathan argued

"Pls? I'm fine, I'm sure" I said softly

"Sure?" He asked

"Yes" I smiled.

Then he pulled me into a hug "Bye. Be safe, okay?"

"Okay. Bye" Then we both pulled out from eachothers hugs and I also said 'bye' to the others

I walked up to my locker, I enter my code and open it. I took some of my books to bring home, but suddenly a piece of paper fell from inside caught my attention. I closed my locker as I picked up the paper and walk through the hallway while carrying my books. I opened the paper and it was somekind of a letter.

My Ella,

    A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. A wonderful smile that makes my world. Oh Ella you're sparkling eyes that shine, gives shivers throughout my spine.

I smiled while reading the letter then suddenly I bumped into someone and my books fell out from my hand.

"I'm so sorry" I apologized while picking up my books from the floor. She didn't respond, I haven't seen her face but she just stood in front of me not even wanting to help and yes, she's a girl. I was about to pick up the letter but the girl stepped on it and I was starting to feel pissed.

I stood up and faced the girl. My eyes widened because I never even expected who. It was-
