We were skimming our eyes through the clothing section for men and I could swear to every God existing in this planet, it looked like, I knew more than them. I was the one picking out their outfits as they looked around a bit dumbfoundedly. Like the entire place was new to them.
"Stop gawking Jeon Jungkook," I finally said to the boy whose mouth was literally hanging open and his eyes almost popping out at almost everything. "You will get a fly in your mouth at this point." I said as I shook my head. What is their deal?
He shook his head as if shaking himself out of a trance and looked back at me with a guilty smile. "Ah sorry." he said.
"But why are you guys looking so awestruck? Haven't y'all really never seen a mall before?" I chuckled shrugging my shoulders finding the idea of it rather funny. I mean we are living in the 21st century.
"Of course we have!" Yoongi exclaimed from beside me glaring at Jungkook. "He's an idiot. Don't mind him." he said with a sigh and went back to looking at a green T-shirt. "We all have... It's just... It's been a while since we've visited..." he trailed off a little softly, his eyes never meeting mine.
I frowned and put my hand on his arm. "So too busy huh?" I tried to laugh a little to lighten the mood since both the boys seemed to get a little tense, almost sad, when he mentioned that it's been a while since they have visited. He just flashed his gummy smile soon after and nodded his head. "Yeah... What can I say? We are orphans you know. We gotta take care of each other and also kind of do everything on our own so we don't get the time." he said and went to the other section.
I looked over at Jungkook. "Hey Y/n, do you think blue suits me better or black?" he asks holding up two shirts and I looked them through. "I think you'll look good in both the colours." I said honestly.
"Then I guess I will go with black. Black is my favourite!" said Jungkook a bit more hyped up than a guy who would just come to shop. Probably because it's been a long time since he had shopped. I was happy that they were finally gonna get rid off those awful patient looking clothes.
When they had told me about their past I was heart broken. They were all orphans, raised in an orphanage in Daegu. When they grew up to be fifteen year olds, they had to leave to come here and study in a good school, so they took up all their savings from the orphanage and also did part time jobs from such a young age to make a living and also study. I don't know how they managed all of this but I had so much respect for them due to this. They only had each other to count on. When I had asked them to take me to their house, Namjoon said that they will when the right time will come and Jin had quickly added. "Because it's quite messy and we don't want you to see it yet." Well I understand. They are boys at the end of the day.
"Y/n how do I look?" a handsome voice interrupted my train of thoughts and I turned around to see Jimin. He was wearing a black full sleeves tshirt and and white cap matched with it. He looked flawless. I mean, cuter than I'd like to admit. A little smile was playing on his lips as I stared at him for longer than I should earning a shy chuckle from him.
"Earth to Y/n, Jiminie asked you if he looks good or not but by the looks of it, it looks like its a yes." Taehyung gave his running commentary coming between us. "Yah!" I slapped his arm. "Shut up! No!" I remarked as my cheeks flushed red at his comment and also pushed him.
"Geez you angry cat, stop." Taehyung laughed. "And you just said no, does that mean he doesn't look good?" he said wiggling his eyebrows and y eyes widened. I looked over at Jimin who had covered his face as he laughed at the scene before him. "Yes, Y/n, do I not look good?" he joined Tae as he intentionally asked me that. Oh my god, were they two really ganging up on me now?
