"Are you okay, Bin? You're pretty distant today." Dongmin asked as he tapped on my shoulder before sitting beside me.

It was currently 7:30 in the morning and I didn't really have any plans to wait for another set of two hours at home. So, since Dongmin lives pretty close and is an early bird anyway, I decided to call him out here for breakfast.

"It's nothing." I replied, dismissively waving my hand at him before gesturing him to bring whatever he bought from the convenience store out.

"If it's because of your family, you're free to squeeze in with my roommate and I." He suggested, opening a package of Samgak-gimbap before handing it to me. Mumbling a quiet 'thank you' as I took the offered food, I shook my head.

"That's okay, I'm planning to move out while he's abroad." I answered, taking a huge bite of the gimbap. "Aren't you afraid of him?" Dongmin questioned, doing the same with his food. "What's there to be afraid of? I'm doing him a favor in a sense." I dryly chuckled, staring into the distance.

"If I were in your situation, I wish I have that ego." Dongmin sighed softly, shaking his head.

True, I do fear my Father. But I'm no longer the child that's dependent on him. It's about time that I'd have the privilege to control my own life and learn how to maneuver through life on my own.

I don't think that house is safe for me anyways. Especially not with her in the picture.

"Hey, I heard that someone saw you piggybacking someone last night." Dongmin stated in an attempt to change the subject. "Oh, that's nothing." I nonchalantly replied, leaning on my seat as I chewed on my food.

"Even at a situation like that, you're the one in her mind... It's quite upsetting..."

"Wait, what? What did you say?"

"Nothing, let's go."

"Huh? You're first class is in two more hours?! Wait!"

y/n's pov

Still feeling pretty ill, I combed my fingers through my hair as a loud huff left my lips. My planned sleep was actually jeopardized by my fear of being late on my first day of classes so I decided to just come in early and sleep inside the room but now I have to deal with being alone in a room with him.

"Can you stop staring? It's uncomfortable." He mumbled, turning around to face me. "Why are you so early?" I questioned, sending him a glare.

"Geez, are you on your monthly visitation? Can't I be early? Why are you here?" He replied with just as noticeable irritation as I had in my voice.

"Nevermind, I'm sleeping." I rolled my eyes at him and leaned on my arms which were resting on top of the table. Minutes into my comfortable posture, I did fall back to sleep.

A few minutes later, I woke up to the sound of the door opening and in came some of my classmates. Two of the girls sat beside me but were too busy talking to each other to even notice me.

Or so that is what I thought until one turned around to wave her hand at me, only to bring her hand down to gesture something on my forehead. "What?" I questioned, rubbing my forehead which made her shake her head even more.

"Yah! Stop... You're smudging the ink..." She gasped, turning towards her friend who was rummaging through her bag for what I think is a pack of makeup removers.

Another group of my classmates came inside and I was hoping desperately that none of them noticed whatever was on my forehead but sadly, one did.

"Nice makeup, Steamed Bun." One said which made the others laugh and here I am again, standing on a stage with a clown outfit on. Lowering my head, I glanced at Moon Bin who was trying his best not to laugh.

"Here you go..." The girl beside me smiled and handed me 2 plies. Turning my phone's front camera, my eyes widened as I stared back into my reflection with a drawing of a steamed bun and a few whiskers on my cheeks.

Quickly wiping my face with the makeup remover I was given, I shot Moon Bin a glare, to which he replied to with a small smirk.

'Such a boy!'

Despite the childish early morning surprise that Steamed bun gave me, I was pretty relieved that my day went smoothly. We didn't have much done today, but we did meet up with our professors and to my surprise, some are pretty chill unlike the college professor stereotypes where they are really uptight to the point where you'd forget breathing while they were in front.

It was already around 5 in the afternoon when I decided to walk home. I was actually pretty occupied by Moon Bin's childish act to even notice the tall figure filling in the empty spot beside me as I walked down the street where the Yoons' residence was.

"Steamed Bun, if you don't pay attention to where you're walking, you might get hurt." He stated, capturing me by surprise as I stopped on my track to look at Moon Bin standing in front of me with his famous boyish smirk.

"What are you doing?!"

"Walking home?"

"Yeah, but why are you following me? Don't follow me." I warned, gesturing him to stay put as I turned towards the left where the house was but it was as if my words didn't even have an effect on him because he even followed me up to the gate.

"What do you mean? I live here."
