Do you think I should add Yoonji?

~

The next day Seokjin woke up late. Which was unlike him. Actually he had woken up on time, but he kept lying on the bed, looking at the ceiling and contemplating his every life decision. When he finally got up, he was late for the meeting. He was sure that he was going to be scolded by Yoongi. He got up slowly and got ready even slower. Made himself some bread butter and tea. He was feeling extra lazy today. Maybe because he was up late, reading some novel that also made him cry. The novel made 38 years old cry and he was still thinking about it. Maybe the end should have been different. Or maybe he related to it on a personal level.

He reached the office and Yoongi was standing in front of the door folding his hands at his chest and glaring at Seokjin. Before he could speak, Seokjin smiled and hugged Yoongi, "I know I am late. I am sorry. Won't happen again. I promise. I love you."

Yoongi rolled his eyes and patted Seokjin's back. "It's okay. I get it." He broke the hug, "We have to go to Seoul National University."

Seokjin nodded, "Yes, I remember. Now let's get to the meeting."

After a ride of half an hour, Seokjin was at the college which was a major part of his life. He sighed and went inside. He met the principle and talked about the upcoming national sports events that were to be held and the events were to be held in the university. The university was very proud of their student. Seokjin had changed many things about the country, though the mentality of people was yet to change.

As Seokjin was about to leave, he spotted a girl standing in the hallway that connected to different classes and smiled. He went near her, "Hey, Eunha. How are you?"

Eunha smiled brighter and bowed, "Hello, Seokjin-shi. I am fine. How are you?"

Seokjin looked at Yoongi who was standing behind him in shock, "Yoongi, meet Eunha. She is the girl I was talking about. She always makes my day brighter."

Eunha giggled, "Thank you for the compliment."

Seokjin shook his head, "That's the truth. And this is Min Yoongi, my personal assistant."

Eunha bowed to him, "Nice to meet you, sir."

Seokjin was about to say something when Yoongi came to his side and whispered, "Do you know who she is?"

They were interrupted by a voice, too familiar for Seokjin. "Eunha. You came here?"

Eunha smiled, "Dad! Of course, it's your first day as a professor. I had to come here."

Seokjin breath hitched, "Namjoon." the voice almost came in a whimper.

Namjoon looked across Eunha and froze. His eyes turned from adoring his daughter to glaring at Seokjin. Seokjin flinched as he felt Namjoon's gaze piercing his soul. Namjoon pulled Eunha behind him as if hiding her from Seokjin, "What are you doing here? Were you talking to Eunha? Don't even think of coming near me or my daughter. Ever."

He took Eunha's wrist in his hand and led her to the car waiting out of the campus.

Seokjin's eyes were watery. He wanted to cry so bad but he controlled himself, "Yoongi, cancel all the meetings today."

Yoongi nodded and took him to his car. This was the worst day ever for Seokjin. He met his daughter and his husband, but it certainly didn't go well. Well, if you ask Seokjin, it did go well. He was expecting more shouting from Namjoon. But maybe that's what made him sadder. Namjoon didn't shout at him which may have meant that Namjoon moved on. It was not like Seokjin could complain. He was the one who left Namjoon and Eunha in the first place.

As soon as Seokjin and Yoongi sat in the car, Yoongi hugged Seokjin tightly. Seokjin hiccuped before crying bitterly on Yoongi's shoulder, "He changed h-her name that I-I had chosen."

"Dad? Where are we going?" Eunha asked quietly.

Namjoon looked out of the window, not wanting his daughter to see the rage in his eyes, "To see your grandma."

Eunha smiled, "I'll finally meet her." Namjoon sighed and looked at Eunha and saw her smiling to herself. He ruffled her hair making her whine, "Dad, not the hair."

Namjoon chuckled, "I used to make little pigtails in this hair, you brat."

"I am not 5, dad. I'm 16." She laughed as Namjoon rolled his eyes. She looked at her lap, "I am sorry."

Namjoon looked at her, confused, "Why?"

"I knew who I was talking to. I have met him four times, at the cafe that you like so much. App- He comes there regularly. I just wanted to know him better." Eunha was almost in tears as she completed her explanation.

Namjoon sighed and hugged her tightly, "It's not your fault. I'm sorry, I reacted that way. I just lost my control when I saw him."

Eunha nodded, "I understand."

Namjoon broke the hug and cupped her face, "You shouldn't be understanding these things at your age." He wiped her tears with his thumb, "I don't want to cloud your judgment. You will be an adult in a few years. You can meet him if you want. And call him appa. But I would warn you to be careful."

"I promise to be careful, dad. I won't let you down." Eunha said, smiling brightly. The father-daughter duo spent the next car ride in comfortable silence.

Namjoon was sitting next to his mother and was watching her sleep peacefully. After a few minutes, she opened her eyes and smiled as she saw Namjoon sitting there. "You came?" It was almost a whisper.

Namjoon shushed, "Don't speak, eomma."

Mrs Kim smiled and raised her hand. Namjon held it immediately. "I missed you, son."

Namjoon had tears in his eyes, "I missed you too. I thought you would still be mad at me."

Mrs Kim smiled brighter with tears in her eyes, "A mother can't be mad at her son for long."

Namjoon chuckled, "I get you now." He looked behind him and pulled Eunha in front of his mother, "Kim Eunha, my daughter."

Mrs Kim sighed, "I finally got to see my granddaughter. Come here, child." Eunha went near her and Mrs Kim kissed her forehead, "May God give you all you want."

Eunha giggled, "Thank you halmeoni."

Mrs Kim laughed, "Ah, now I can die peacefully."

Namjoon pouted with tears in his eyes, "Don't say that, please."

Mrs Kim placed her hand on his cheek, "I know my time has come, son. I'll just give you advice. Always listen to your heart and it's okay to be selfish sometimes."

Namjoon nodded and covered her hand with his. He cried holding his mother close. Eunha had seen him cry for the first time in 12 years. She saw his hero cry for the second time.

A hand came on Namjoon's shoulder and he looked back, "What happened noona?"

She smiled sadly, "You should watch the news right now."
