A few hours had gone through. Namjoon was calmer now and Seokjin was on his phone making sure that the controversy of him and Namjoon in the media was being handled well. Suddenly they heard a cry.
"No! No, please say it is not true! It can't be! He was not there in the house when I was here."
Seokjin and Namjoon knew the voice very well. Namjoon searched for the source and there he saw Eunha crying in Jungkook's arms. He stood and ran to her.
The cop explained to her, "The reports don't lie, ma'am. The body belongs to a middle-aged male.
Eunha cried louder and about to lash at the cop when she heard her name being called, "Eunha! Oh my god! Thank god. You are safe. My baby."
Eunha ran to Namjoon and hugged him tightly, "They said it was your body."
Namjoon glared at the cop and the cop sighed, "I never said it was his body. I said the body belongs to a middle-aged man." He rolled his eyes and went away.
Eunha cried harder, "I thought it was you. I was so scared."
Namjoon patted her head and kissed her face to calm her down, "Shh... It's okay. We are fine. I am glad you are fine."
Eunha nodded in the hug, "I am glad too. I am so glad that you are okay."
Namjoon looked at Seokjin and smiled, "Let's go. Please." Seokjin nodded and led the two and Jungkook to his car.
Jungkook hugged Namjoon, "I am glad you are okay, hyung."
Namjoon smiled and nodded. He sat in the back seat with Eunha and Seokjin was about to sit in the driver's seat, but Jungkook stopped him, "I will drive. You should rest."
Seokjin nodded and sat on the passenger's seat. Seokjin looked back and smiled sadly, "I am sorry."
Namjoon looked at him with teary eyes, "Why are you saying sorry? I should be thanking you instead."
Seokjin looked ahead on the road, "I am sorry because you have to endure so much because of me. I will understand if you had told me that you wanted to be with me just to piss off my father. You don't have to go through this. Again and again."
The car stopped at the red sign but Namjoon didn't say anything. This made Seokjin more worried. He knew when Namjoon was silent, he was thinking. And when Namjoon started thinking, the outcome was the most logical one. The most logical outcome right now was to leave him and be happy with their daughter. Without the fear of being attacked all the time.
After about fifteen minutes, they reached the safe house. It was in the middle of nowhere. No one would have known that there was a house here. It was a huge mansion which was surrounded by the forest. It was well protected by the guards. Jungkook parked the car in front of the main door and all of them got out.
Seokjin went to inform the guards about tightening the security and not letting anyone without his or Yoongi's permission.
When he was done giving the instructions, he turned around and let out a shrill cry. "What the fuck, Namjoon. You scared me!" Namjoon snickered at Seokjin, displaying his dimples. Seokjin smiled and patted his head, "You should be in there with everyone else. Why are you here?"
Namjoon smiled shyly, "Actually I wanted to tell you something."
Seokjin knew where it was going. He wanted to avoid it at cost. Not now. Not yet. He wanted to be in the pretence of namjoon finally accepting him back. He sighed, "Actually, I am hungry. We will talk after lunch."
He started walking towards the house, but Namjoon held his wrist and pulled him back, "We need to talk. Right now."
Seokjin closed his eyes to make himself stronger. He took a deep breath and nodded, "Okay." His voice was so low that Namjoon hardly heard it.
They went to the back of the house where there was a garden. It had many lilies and hyacinth in different colours. They sat on the bench next to the purple hyacinth.
Namjoon looked at the flowers, "Do you maintain them?"
Seokjin shook his head, "I did plant them. I raised them for a year, then the schedule became so busy that I never had time to come here."
Namjoon nodded. They sat there for a while and then Finally, Namjoon broke the silence, "I wanted to tell you something."
"Go ahead." Seokjin cringed as his voice cracked.
Namjoon sighed, "I know this all is happening because we want to be together. I know you won't file a complaint against your father and I don't want you to do that too. I know I called you when I was with your father, but it wasn't to piss him off. I really want us to be together and be a happy family."
Seokjin released the breath he was holding, "Namjoon, I don't want to force you. And if this is for Eunha, we can still complete her wishes of being around each other without actually getting together. I want you to think this through."
Namjoon smiled, "I have thought it through. I was going to tell you this on the new years' eve. But I just told you today. Guess your father worked as a catalyst."
Seokjin looked at Namjoon with big doe eyes, "Are you sure? I mean I can-"
He was cut by Namjoon's lips on his. Seokjin closed his eyes and sighed in the kiss. Namjoon moved his lips and so did Seokjin. They felt an electricity flow in them. It was not like the kisses they shared when Seokjin was drunk. This was what both of them longed for, craved for. Seokjin held Namjoon's shoulder for support. He was so overwhelmed that he didn't know he was crying.
Namjoon broke the kiss and hugged Seokjin, "Thank you. I am sorry, you had to go through so much just to save us. I know how hard it is to even think about our loved ones being harmed. I felt it today and I was shaken. You had to break up with me on the top of that fear. I want the family with you. I want us to be the family we dreamt about."
Seokjin broke into crying harder, thanking Namjoon for taking him in again.
