Eunha went to the building and looked up. It was huge and intimidating. She was wearing an oversized pink sweatshirt and blue jeans. It had been two weeks since she saw Seokjin last time. She sighed and stepped in. A lady was sitting at the reception. Eunha smiled nervously, "Umm. can I meet Kim Seokjin-shi?" she asked meekly.
The lady looked at her from top to bottom and scoffed, "Do you have an appointment?"
Eunha looked down, "No. But I-I don't think I would need an ap-appointment."
The lady laughed in the most mocking tone. "Even I need an appointment. How old are you? Who are you, that you don't need an appointment?"
Eunha shrunk under the lady. 'I knew this was a bad idea.' She thought. She was thinking of going back when she heard a familiar voice, "What's the noise here?"
The lady stood and bowed and then laughed, "This kid here says she doesn't need an appointment to meet you."
Eunha looked up through her eyelashes and shrunk more when she saw Seokjin's rock hard expressions. The night he left then flashed through her eyes. She wanted to run away. She shrunk under the gaze and hugged her body as if protecting herself. Namjoon had told her not to expect anything. It was a mistake, wasn't it?
Seokjin turned to the receptionist, "If you stop her from entering the building or my office again, get ready to get fired." Eunha was shocked and she looked up and saw a smiling Seokjin. He extended his hand, "Let's go, I'll show you my office."
Eunha slowly took Seokjin's hand and followed him. Seokjin looked at her, "Did you eat?" Eunha nodded. Seokjin smiled and got into the elevator.
They entered the office and Eunha was shocked, "Waah. This is amazing. You work here?"
Seokjin smiled, "Not always. But yeah."
The office looked over the entire city and was furnished minimally. There was a bookshelf on the right and television on the left. The working table in the middle and behind it was the huge one-way window. Eunha went to the bookshelf and smiled sadly, "You read dad's books?"
Seokjin chuckled, "Every one of them. Does he know you are here?"
Eunha looked at Seokjin, "Yeah, I told him before coming here. Sejin samchon brought me here."
Sekjin looked at her with a confused expression, "Sejin?"
Eunha laughed nervously, "Ah, right. He is dad's manager. But when dad is not doing events, he takes care of me whenever dad needs alone time to write."
Seokjin nodded and smiled, "Why don't you sit there," He pointed at his chair, "and I'll tell someone to buy ice cream. What flavor do you like?"
As Seokjin turned around, Eunha stopped him, "It's okay. You don't have to, appa."
Seokjin froze on his spot and gasped loudly. A tear fell on his cheek. He turned back, "What did you call me?"
Eunha smiled and tilted her head, "Appa."
Seokjin brisked to her and engulfed her in a hug, "Gosh, I missed you so much."
Eunha hugged back crying, "I missed you too. Please, come back."
Seokjin broke the hug and wiped Eunha's tears, "I'd gladly come back. But I don't think your dad would let me back. I have hurt him the most."
Eunha looked down, "Why did you leave us?"
Seokjin sighed. It came out too wavy, "I can't tell you that. But I'll tell you one thing. I didn't want to leave. The situation was so- so difficult that I had to leave."
