The next day Seokjin woke up with a raging headache. He opened his eyes and found the sunlight irritating him. This is the reason he situated his room with minimal sunlight.
Wait.
This wasn’t his room.
He opened his eyes and looked around. The room had minimal furniture and was decorated in bright colours. No room in his house had bright colours.
He looked at himself and found that he was wearing weird pjs. The memories of last night flooded his mind. He remembered calling Namjoon but he didn’t come. He remembered someone took him from the footpath and then everything was blank. Ah! He dreamt about Namjoon. Again.
His head was hurting like a bitch to even panic about his current situation. He went to find where he was when he heard laughter filed in the house. He went towards the voice and found Eunbyul- no, Eunha sitting on the dining table.
“Gah! Dad, I’m not a baby anymore. But your Koya pancakes are amazing.” She giggled as she munched on her food.
Namjoon was moving skillfully in the kitchen. For a second Seokjin panicked about burning the kitchen down. But he saw that Namjoon had improved much more than he had remembered. He strode towards the father-daughter duo. He sat on the dining table.
“Oh, good morning appa.” Eunha smiled at Seokjin.
Seokjin grinned, “Good morning princess.”
Eunha scrunched her face, “You stink, appa!”
Seokjin sniffed himself and scrunched his nose too. Must be the alcohol.
Namjoon took the apron off and went into his room. He came back with a pair of his clothes. “Change into these. The room you came out of has a bathroom.”
Seokjin nodded and took the clothes. He dragged himself to the room. Eunha smiled and looked at Namjoon, “I want Pikachu pancake next.”
Namjoon raised his eyebrows, “You said you are grown up.” Eunha just shrugged and started eating the pancakes.
Sometime later, Seokjin came back and sat beside Eunha. Namjoon was dumbfounded when he saw Seokjin in his clothes. He wore a black t-shirt that fell off his shoulder as it was too big for him. The memories of last night flooded in and he became nervous. He gave him a plate of pancakes, tea and medicine. “Eat before you take medicine. And your phone was constantly ringing.”
Seokjin took the phone and saw the missed calls from Yoongi. He winced thinking about the things he would have to listen to. He called Yoongi.
Yah! Kim Seokjin!
Seokjin took the phone away from his ear because of the screaming.
I hope you have been buried under the six feet snow.
Seokjin chuckled, “Your dream will not come true this time. Namjoon took me home before I could bury under the snow.”
You are at Namjoon’s house? Yoongi’s voice was strained and concerned.
Seokjin looked at Eunha and smiled, “Yeah, don’t worry. I am fine.”
Well, you will have to stay there. The city is covered in snow. I’ll come to get you as soon as we can clear the snow.
Seokjin chuckled, “Don’t worry Yoongi. Enjoy Christmas with your family. I’ll reach home by myself when I can.”
Are you sure?
Seokjin sighed, “Yes. Tell Hoseok Merry Christmas on behalf of me.”
Seokjin cut the call. He was about to take a bite when he felt a gaze on him. He looked up and found Eunha staring at him. “What?”
