The Red Tiger Flash, A Dark Past Revealed

Chapter 7: Love?

The sound of ice shattering echoed through the cave.

Metal ripping through flesh.

Blood splattering on the ground.

Blood pooling next to Gaara.

Hana's bright red hair flying through the air.

Sasori's large mechanical tail had shattered through the ice.

Piercing Hana directly through the torso.

Hana's eyes filled with tears as Sasori roughly  pulled the tail out.

Her body fell to the floor with a bloody thud, her ice slowly crumbling around her and Gaara.

Gaara's eyes widened in horror as Hana laid there, her blood pooling underneath her.

Hana's light blue eyes slowly drained of their life, as her eyes were wide with fear and pain.

Gaara's sea foam eyes filled with tears, with eyes wide in horror as Hana's tears fell to the floor.

Her tears mixed with her red puddle of blood, her red hair scattered on the ground, her orange and grey goggles hanging loosely from her neck.

Gaara couldn't yell, he couldn't scream, he couldn't help her, he couldn't hold her.

Hana laid next to Gaara, a large hole through her chest.

"Hana..." Gaara said as Hana stood in front of him, back in that large empty white space.

"Gaara. This is it for me. I'm just glad...I'm just glad I got to see your eyes one last time." Hana said as Gaara took a step forward, his hand reaching out to her.

"Hana! W-wait! Don't go!" Gaara yelled as Hana smiled.

"Please don't be sad. Tell Temari, Naruto, everyone, that I'm so sorry. I wish it didn't end like this." Hana said with a smile as Gaara ran forward, pulling her into a tight hug.

"Hana...you asked me what love was. It's this. I-I....I love you so much Hana! Please don't leave me!!" Gaara yelled as Hana slowly started to fade, smiling at Gaara one last time.

"I love you too, Gaara. G....Goodbye...." Hana said sadly as she completely faded from Gaara's arms, Gaara falling to his knees as he cried.

"Hana!!!!"

Hana's eyes were almost completely drained, as she slowly and weakly, slid her hand across the bloody ground, reaching towards Gaara's hand.

Gaara and Hana's tears fell onto the bloody ground, as Hana wrapped her hand softly around Gaara's.

Hana squeezed Gaara hand lightly, as her frightened and scared eyes drained of their life, her grip going limp.

Her hand went cold as her face drained of all color and emotion, her eyes closing as she stopped breathing.

Gaara's eyes slowly closed as well, the life draining out of his own as he stopped breathing.

"Idiot! You weren't supposed to kill her! We don't have any more time! The leaf shinobi will be here any second!" Deidera yelled as Sasori growled.

"Look at this mess." Sasori mumbled as he stared at the two red heads.

Hana laid on her side, a large hole through her chest as her blood pooled underneath her and Gaara, both holding hands.

Hana's bright red hair was sprawled all over the ground, as they both laid motionlessly on the ground.

As Naruto and the team sprinted through the trees, a vision of Hana flashed through Naruto's eyes.

Her back was facing him, as she waved behind her back, her long hair flowing through the wind as she slowly crumbled away.

Naruto's eyes widened as a pang shot through his heart, a bad feeling over taking him.

The picture of Kankuro, Gaara, Temari, and Hana, sat on Kankuro's bedside table.

The picture suddenly fell to the ground, the glass cracking directly over a smiling Hana and Gaara.

"What!?" Kankuro yelled as he examined the picture, a bad feeling flowing over him.

Rose stood on the statue, as an odd feeling flushed over her.

A vision of Hana smiling at her, flashed over Rose's vision as she rubbed her eyes.

'The hell was that?' Rose thought as she pushed it aside, ignoring the feeling.

Neji, Tenten, Guy, and Lee all stood next to team kakashi and granny Chiyo.

They were outside the large cave, the boulder blocking their way as Naruto gritted his teeth.

"It's looks like there's a large cavern inside, but...I can't clearly see what's going on inside..." Neji said as Naruto growls.

"What about Gaara and Hana!? What's happening to them!?" Naruto questioned angrily as Neji focused his Byakugan.

"Wait! I'm searching now..." Neji said as he spotted Hana and Gaara, staring with wide eyes.

Neji deactivated his Byakugan as he looked down.

"It's hard to explain in words...but...there's blood. There's...there's so much blood..." Neji said as everyone's eyes widen.

"Well, shall we get going?" Kisame questioned as Pain smirked.

"I will heal that girl later. Why don't you let the guests take a look at the damage first, then Zetsu will bring her back to the base." Pain ordered as everyone nodded.

The members all left, Deidera and Sasori sitting next to Hana and Gaara with smirks.

"How cute...the two monsters died together.." Deidera chuckled as Sasori nodded in agreement.

The cave entrance crumbled, as Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, and Lady Chiyo entered.

The four of them stared with wide eyes at Hana and Gaara, Hana's blood covering the floor, as she still had Gaara's hand in hers.

"We're too late..." Kakashi said as Naruto and Sakura stared in horror.

"H-Hana...G-Gaara..." Naruto choked out as Zetsu formed from the ground.

"Leader is ready for her." Zetsu said as Deidera nodded, Deidera picking up Hana's lifeless body, her bloody hand pulled away from Gaara's.

"Hey! You put her down!" Naruto yelled as his eyes teared up. "Hana! Why aren't you getting up! Come on you two!"

"You're too late. She's already dead." Sasori said as Naruto's eyes widened in horror and disbelief.

Zetsu grabbed Hana, slowly forming into the ground as he disappeared.

"Hana!!!"
