Chapter 22: The Nine Tails Scraps

Hana groaned as she sat up, quickly jumping onto the roofs as she ignored her pain.

As she looked at the village, she realized four lights, traveling around the village.

'What are those lights?' Hana thought, only for her eyes to widened in shock.

'When those lights get to a certain spot, something bad will probably happen....they're going to destroy the leaf!!' Hana thought as she gritted her teeth.

Hana looked into the sky, lightning meeting a point at the middle as Hana's eyes widened.

"Oh no...this can't be good.." Hana said as Tuka and Ruka grumbled.

"So bitches, we ready to kill now, or what?" Tuka said impatiently as Ruka growled.

"Shut it Tuka. I'd rather not help the brat unless necessary."

"You guys are annoying." Hana mumbled as she looked around, her eyes widening as her breathing increased.

An overwhelming amount of chakra flowed from the trees at the edge of the village.

The chakra was full of immense hate and disgust, and Sora's chakra was mixed into it.

Hana shot towards the blasting orange chakra, throwing a marked kunai as she disappeared.

Hana appeared in a small crater, her eyes widening at Sora.

Asuma and Naruto landed next to her, as her breathing increased once more.

"Sora!" Hana yelled as chakra started to cloak him, Sora groaning slightly as it over took him.

Hana's hair blew wildly at the chakra, as she swallowed hard.

"What's happening to him?" Naruto questioned as Hana bit her lip.

"I don't know...it's looks exactly like what happened to Hana a year ago..." Asuma said as Hana stared in worry at Sora.

"That's right Sora! Channel your anger! Channel all that anger into real power! Use your hate to smash the people of the leaf. To crush them into dust." The old man that stood next to Sora said with a menacing grin, laughing uncontrollably as Sora gritted his teeth.

"Stop saying that. I'll never do these things you want me to do. I wasn't brought into this world for that." Sora said weakly as the man cackled.

"Of course you were! Your life's purpose is to serve the cause of unifying the land of fire. And the time has finally come when your powers are required, Sora." The man said as Hana growled lowly, Naruto clenching his fists in anger.

"I don't understand a word of this. What's this guy talking about?" Naruto questioned as Asuma stepped forward.

"Wait a minute. It is you. But it can't be. You were one of the guardian shinobi 12." Asuma said as Hana and Naruto stepped forward.

"I don't care who you are. What did you do to Sora?" Naruto questioned as Hana nodded in agreement.

"I just made use of the scraps you left behind. That's all." The man said as Hana's eyes widened.

"What did you say?" Naruto asked as Hana gritted her teeth.

"You see, Sora is a lot like you." The man said, but Sora interrupted him.

Sora screamed into the air, the chakra around him flaring out as Hana shielded her eyes.

"Sora!" Naruto yelled as he ran forward, but he didn't make it far.

A large string of the orange chakra slammed Naruto back, as Hana looked at Naruto in worry.

"Naruto!" Hana yelled as she looked back at Sora, who gripped his arm tightly as he winced in pain.

"What is this pain? Is it really true? Am I really turning into the-the nine tails?" Sora questioned as Hana's breath hitched.

"But how? How did you do it to him?" Asuma questioned as the older man cackled.

"You should know better than I. Have you forgotten the nine tails attack in the leaf that ended with the nine tails being sealed in the body of an infant, at the cost of the fourth hokages life? This meant the leaf possessed the power of the nine tailed fox. Not wanting to be outdone, we seized the opportunity. We gathered up all the scattered remanents of the chakra left behind after the nine tails rampage. We nutured it, and then, five years later, implanted it in Sora." The man cackled evilly as Hana stepped forward.

"Bastard! How could you do such a thing!?" Hana screamed at him, the man cackling at her as she glared at him.

"Quite easily actually. And Fuka told me about you. You have that disgusting chakra just like that boy. I wonder, what do you have inside of you?" The man asked with a menacing smile as Hana growled.

"Something you don't want to mess with, bastard!!" Hana screamed as she looked at Sora sadly, before she took a deep breath.

"I saw. I saw at the temple, that hate and disgust targeted at him. I've seen those very eyes myself...I understand." Hana said as Naruto walked up next to her, looking at Sora sadly.

"It was the same for me. I know what it's like. I felt those same eyes, watch me." Naruto said with a sad look in his eyes.

"What does all of that matter now?" The man asked as Hana gritted her teeth.

"Eyes like those, looking at us like we're not human, but freaks that belong in a cage." Naruto said as Hana glared at the man.

"Those eyes, were that same eyes my own clan gave me! My own clan tried to kill me! They treat us like monsters! All anybody ever uses us for is their own twisted greed!" Hana said as she shook slightly, Naruto and Asuma staring at her with wide eyes as she growled slightly.

"You people..don't you ever stop to think about how we feel? And now Sora. Sora..." Hana trailed off as her and Naruto's heads snapped up together at the man.

"Who gave you the right to put a monster inside of him?!"

"Who gave you the right to do this to him!?"

Hana and Naruto yelled together as they both ran forward, Hana unsheathing her katana as Naruto clenched a kunai tightly.

The man blocked their attacks with a large staff, as Naruto and Hana attacked him relentlessly.

"Why!?" Hana yelled between blows. "Why did you do this to Sora!?"

"Enough of this." The man said as the staff separated into a heavy chain, whipping at Naruto and Hana as Naruto was blown back.

Hana had shoved Naruto back, catching the chain in one hand as she growled, gripping the chain as she looked into the mans eyes.

Just as Hana was about to speak, Sora's voice broke her glare at the man, as she looked over at him.

"Stay away! All of you, stay away from me. It won't work anymore. I won't be fooled by you. Killing my father, and then thinking you can be my friend?" Sora yelled as Hana's grip loosened, as the man smirked.

Slamming his foot into her side, Hana went flying back, yelping as she flipped over, skidding back on her feet as she stood up.

"Sora." Naruto said as he walked forward, Sora shuffling backwards as he gritted his teeth.

"I told you, stay away! No matter what you say, you're still just another one of the leaf, arent you?" Sora said as Hana walked next to Naruto, her hand wrapped around her stomach as she looked into Sora's eyes.

"Sora. I'm not from the leaf. We're all so similar, you have to trust us. I understand you're confused, and I understand. Just-" Hana was interrupted as she nearly dodged a strand of orange chakra shooting towards her as Sora grabbed his arm in pain, the claw on his hand growing larger as he cried out in pain.

Sora screamed as one tail formed from the chakra, Hana on one knee as she stared with wide eyes.

"Wait- what's going on? This is impossible. Why is Sora-that's the nine tails cloak." Naruto said as Asuma shook his head.

"Can it be? His cells are actually becoming one with the cells of the nine tails." Asuma said in disbelief as Sora screamed even louder, now on all fours as Hana gritted her teeth.

The nine tails chakra slowly took over Sora.
