Chapter 65: Caring

Naruto set down Rose, Kakashi's eyes wide with horror as Naruto looked at him sadly.

Naruto stood up, his fists clenched tightly as Sakura looked at him in confusion.

"Naruto, What are you doing?" Sakura questioned as Naruto gritted his teeth.

"I'm going to help Hana. Help Rose sensei as best you can!" Naruto yelled as he shot off into the trees, Sakura quickly tending to Rose.

Sasuke shot forward, his chidori ignited as Hana's hand was ignited in flames.

"Sasuke!!" Hana yelled as Sasuke growled.

"Hana!!!" Sasuke yelled as they both raised their hands.

"This ends now!!"

Hana and Sasuke stood across from each other, Hana looking at Sasuke sadly.

"Sasuke, I just want to help you." Hana said as Sasuke tisked.

"I don't need your help. You can't convince me, no matter what you say." Sasuke said with a glare as Hana sighed.

"Well, I guess you're right. It's just, I had never met someone like you. You were so cold, and rude, but in a way, you were caring. Heh, sounds a bit like someone else...anyway, it just pains me to see you like this." Hana said as Sasuke's eyes widened.

"I truly do care for you, even if you don't care for me. For so long, all me and Naruto wanted was to bring you back to the village. That's been our goal ever since you left. I was foolish, and a plain idiot when you left, because I didn't think you were the type of person to just give up. You know, I kept that tomato plant all those years. Though, it's gone now. I had nothing as a child, but I built bonds with you and Naruto and Sakura." Hana laughed lightly as Sasuke stared at her in slight confusion.

"I'm just- I'm really glad I met you! You've changed my life, in good and bad ways, but none the less, I'm just so glad I met you!" Hana said happily as Sasuke shook his head.

"You can't change me, no matter what you say to me now. I'm going to kill each and every person in the leaf, including you! And I'll get revenge for the Uchiha clan!" Sasuke said harshly as Hana kept her smile, looking down as she sighed.

"I thought you might say that. But is that really the only way?" Hana questioned as Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

"Yes. So your only choices are to kill me and become the hero who saved the village, or to be killed by me and become known as just a loser!" Sasuke growled as Hana nodded.

"Oh sasuke, I don't believe that. I know I told Naruto I would kill you, but that wasn't true. I did that on purpose. I had to get him mad at me so he wouldn't be sad when I left the village. So I'm not going to be the loser, or the hero who killed you. Neither one is going to happen." Hana said as Sasuke stared at her with cold eyes.

"And don't you know already?" Hana said as she looked Sasuke in the eyes. "I'm the unkillable red of the leaf! And I'm not dying until I bring you back!"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow as Hana smiled.

"So just remember, the fastest shinobi in all the lands, Hanabusa Jimi Uzumaki, dragged you back to Konoha by your stupid duck hair!" Hana said with a thumbs up as everything faded.

Small flurries of snow fell to the ground, the snow falling into the crimson red water.

Sasuke stared at the scene in front of him with wide eyes, taking a slight step back as Hana coughed.

Hana's flames around her arm died out, as her eyes were wide.

Hana's arm was over Sasuke left shoulder, her stomach over Sasuke's hand that was plunged deeply into her flesh.

She had missed.

Hana coughed, blood splattering as she shakily lifted her head up.

"G-guess yo-you did-did wi-win." Hana said as she smiled.

"H-Hana...no...what have I done..." Sasuke said but he closed his mouth.

'Why did I say that? It's not like I care-' Sasuke thought as he stared into Hana's light blue eyes.

"Yo-you will-will alw-always be my Friend, Sasuke. No...no...no matter- matter what...ugh..." Hana breathed out as her feet sunk into the water below her, Naruto bursting out of the trees.

Naruto stared with wide eyes, Sasuke ripping his hand from Hana's stomach as he let her fall into the water.

"H-Hana- no...no!no!no! Not you too!" Naruto screamed as Sasuke turned around, Zetsu forming out of the rocky walls near the water.

Tobi also appeared in a swirl, as he tilted his head.

"Oh? What happened here?" Tobi questioned as Sasuke shook his head.

"It's over. Kakashi killed Rose, I wasted my time with Hanabusa, nothing interesting." Sasuke said as Tobi's eye widened behind his mask.

"Rose? Hm." Tobi said as he sucked Sasuke into his Kamui, as he too disappeared.

'Damn you, Kakashi. I cannot wait to kill you.'

Naruto pulled Hana out of the water, staring at her as he tried to stop the bleeding.

"Hana, Hana stay with me! You're going to be okay! SAKURA!!!" Naruto screamed as he gently picked Hana up.

"You're going to be okay. Don't worry. I won't let anything bad happen to you. You'll walk out of here and go right back to Gaara. You'll be alright." Naruto said as Hana stared at him with sleepy eyes.

"Don't fall asleep! Just stay with me. Come on Hana! I'm sorry for what I said to you, just please don't close your eyes!" Naruto yelled as he jumped back into the tree line.

"Girl...why did you..." Tuka questioned as Hana stood in front of the large cages.

"You little brat! Do you think our chakra is just all free to use?! Why did you-" Ruka yelled.

"I wanted to see if Sasuke was still human, that he still cares." Hana said as Tuka clicked his tongue.

"So...?" Tuka said.

"I got what I wanted to hear." Hana said as Ruka growled.

"So you deliberately missed and almost got yourself killed, AGAIN?!" Ruka yelled as she banged across the cage bars.

"Mmm...yes. So heal me please!" Hana said with a large smile as Tuka and Ruka growled.

"I'm not healing you! Die!" Tuka yelled as he growled in the corner of his cage.

"Then I guess your both just going to die, and Tuka can never get with Ruka, and you guys will never get to escape..." Hana said as Tuka jumped up.

"Fine you little shit!" Tuka used. "Free of charge! Nothing gets in the way of me and Rukas love!!"

"God, you're such an idiot." Ruka grumbled as Hana laughed.

"You guys are the best."

Hana sat up, groaning as she looked around.

Naruto shot up, running straight over as he grabbed Hana's face.

"Hana, are you alright, are you okay, does anything hurt?" Naruto questioned as Hana shook her head.

"Hana...we have some really bad news..." Sakura said as Hana raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?"
