Max's Adventures: The Arctic Fox Siblings

Chapter 10: Love Thaws the Ice

Max held the lion crystal and Zinti held her ice crystal in front of the queen. Zinti's ears were down nervous "I don't know if I could do it Max" she said unsure and a little scared.

"You can do it Zinti. The love you have for your family and this kingdom will break the spell" Max explained to her calmly with warm smile.

Zinti was still nervous but then she notice another hand resting on her paw on the crystal. She looked and saw her brother Tazer smiling at her gently.

"If you can make a giant ice shield and...make me realize my mistake, then we can save our family and our kingdom" he told her confident, squeezing her hand and Zinti smiled at him.

Max placed a hand on Tazer's shoulder and the fox looked at him "Your determination and good heart can also save this kingdom" he told him and Tazer smiled at him.

The three friends held the two crystals in front of Iduna. "Magic of the ice crystal. Please break the spell off our parents and our kingdom" Zinti said.

"Lion crystal of sense. Harness the love and determination of the fox siblings to free this kingdom from Shadow Master's dark magic" Max said.

Both crystals started glowing as the three of them and their friends watched in amazement. The magic suddenly unleashed out the gems and spread all over the kingdom.

The magic reached to the possessed guards and freed them from the dark magic as they looked around puzzled. The kingdom's inhabitants were restored and finally the magic swirled around the king and queen.

The fox king was unfrozen and he fell to the ground exhausted but Leena ran over and caught him by the arm.

The queen's fur color changed back to blue and her eyes were changed back to normal and she looked puzzled. She blinked a few times and looked at her kids and Max. Iduna smiled wide at her kids.

"Tazer! Zinti!" She said happy and the fox siblings smiled back at their mom "Mom!" Tazer and Zinti both said happy and they hugged their mom tightly, her arms wrapped around them both.

Tazer and Max helped Iduna stand up. Zinti turned around and got excited to see her dad unfrozen. "Daddy!" She yelled excited and ran over to him as Arctique wrapped his arm around her, smiling.

Tazer walked up to his father happy while holding his dad's sword. Arctique smiled at him proudly as he grabbed the sword. Max and his friends smiled, happy to see the fox family reunited.

"Hey Crystal Snatcher. Don't forget the promise" Leena reminded Tazer smirking with her hands on her hips. Tazer smiled sheepishly at the nickname "Right" he said, rubbing the back of his head.

Back in Shadow Master's lair, the evil sorcerer is watching the whole thing from his dark magic and he growled in anger, upset that his plan failed.

Everyone headed back to the Phoenix and Zinti gave the ice crystal to her mom. Iduna put her hands out and ice magic surround the frozen wing and thawed the ice. Inside, Kara, Spike and Twitch watched in amazement as the ice in the engine room melted.

"Thank you Queen Iduna" Max told her gladly and bowed to her along with Leena in respect.

"Thank you Max. For helping my children and saving our kingdom" she told them smiling. Arctique joined her side "From now on, you have the Arctic Foxes as your ally" Arctique told him.

Max, Leena and Higgabottom made their way over the Phoenix to the entrance "Hey Max!" Tazer's voice came up and Max turned around and his eyes widen to see the fox siblings running up to them.

"What's up you two?" Max asked curious as to what the siblings wanted. Tazer and Zinti looked at eachother smiling and looked back at their friend "We want to join you. We want to help you defeat Shadow Master" Tazer told him confident.

"Really?" Max said surprised "Yeah. My mom gave me a piece of her ice crystal so I can help you guys out with ice magic" Zinti said excited as she held out her ice necklace, the crystal much smaller.

Tazer felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned to look at his dad who smiled at him proudly and held out his sword to Tazer.

"Your sword" Tazer said but he got surprised when a
Arctique took his hand and placed the sword in it. "It is yours now" his dad told him and Tazer was surprised and looked at his father. Arctique smiled at him "You have a lot to learn. But I know you'll make a great Arctic Fox King one day" he told him confident and proud and Tazer smiled at his dad big and nodded to him.

Zinti ran inside the Phoenix excited with Tazer walking behind as he strapped the sword to his belt. Arctique and Iduna smiled proudly at their kids. Max smiled at his new friends and they smiled back at him "Hope you like hot weather" Max told Tazer and he shrugged it off as the entrance door closed and the Phoenix took off for the next lion crystal, the lion crystal of strength.
