Chapter 24

After jogging, we went to Area 2 for breakfast. Actually, pinilit ko lang silang tatlo dahil ayaw nila.

"Kain tayo?" ani ko nang makabalik si GF at Bricks sa pwesto namin.

Hindi ako napilit ni Adam na magjogging ng isa pang beses. Or maybe, pinagbigyan niya lang ako.

"Kakajogging lang natin tapos kain agad," si GF sa hingal na boses. She put her right hand on her waist and inhale a large amount of air.

I watched her in front of me. I was sitting on a cement bench with Adam while the couple was standing in front of us.

"Hindi ka ba nagugutom?" I asked her. My forehead creased a bit.

"Nah! I'm on diet," she answered. I rolled my eyes. Ako. Nagugutom na 'ko!

"Dali na! Gutom na 'ko GF." Pilit ko.

"Ano ba naman 'yan, GF. Naka-ilang ikot ka?" she asked and raised a brow.

I heard Adam's laugh beside me.

"One and a half. Umayaw na sa gitna," Adam answered for me.

GF winced, disappointed sa narinig. I nudged Adam so he would stop laughing but it was not effective, reason why I gave him one deadly look. He stopped but there's a ghost of a smile on the side of his lips.

"Ano ba naman 'yan, GF. Napakatamad mo mag-exercise." si Daniella.

"Weak!" asar ni Bricks.

I glared at him. E sa pagod na 'ko, e!

"H'wag n'yo nga akong yabangan dyan sa pagiging athlete n'yo. Sa napagod na ko, e!" I controlled myself not to roll my eyes.

"Paano ka magiging fit n'yan kung isa't kalahating ikot pa lang, pagod ka na!" si GF.

Humalakhak si Bricks at Adam.

"Tsk. Sige next time, gawin kong dalawa na," I smirked just to annoy her.

"Huwag ka na kayang sumali," mataray ang tono n'ya.

Ngumiwi ako sa sinabi niya ngunit hindi na s'ya pinatulan. Baka mamaya, mag-away pa kaming dalawa rito. I stood up.

"Alam mo GF, nagtataray ka na. Gutom ka na," ani ko at humalakhak. Pinatalikod siya para maigiya ko maglakad patungong Area 2.

Tatlong athlete ang kasama ko at dahil may dorm ang mga athlete sa campus, nakaligo at nakapagpalit muna kami ng damit. GF and I went to balay Atleta to take a shower and change. Bago kami tuluyan na nagtungo sa Area 2.

GF and I were both wearing shorts. GF was wearing a color pastel button front crop top, denim shorts and shoes. I was wearing redwood tie shoulder ruffle hem cami top, white shorts and white toe post thin strap sandals.

Nasa labas na si Adam, nag-iintay nang makalabas kaming Balay Atleta. Si GF, dumiretso sa sasakyan ni Bricks.

"Pakitaas ng konti," Adam commanded and nodded when I stopped in front of him. His arms were crossed over his chest.

My forehead creased. Taka sa sinasabi niya. I survey his outfit. He was wearing a white shirt, black graphic print drawstring sweatpants and white Nike shoes. May itim na relo sa wrist at may hikaw sa tainga. Kita ang tattoo nito dahil sa magkakrus na braso. This time, it was a gold rhinestone engraved cross charm necklace that hung on his neck. His black hair was neatly arranged. At s'yempre, hindi mawawala ang umaalingasaw n'yang bango.

Adam raised his brow and glanced at my top. Mabilis ko iyong sinundan at nakitang bahagya nga'ng kita ang taas ng dibdib ko dahil sa suot. Nahiya ako ngunit mabilis din naglaho nang may naisip.
