It's my first day of High School! I'm excited but also scared that what happens to me at home will happen at school. There is nothing worse than the gut felling that nothing good is going to come out of your day. I am going into sophomore year even though I'm 14 because I have a late birthday. My birthday is November 18th. I keep counting down the years until I turn 18 and can leave Cam. I wake up to my alarm blasting with song. The only thing that really keeps me going is music.
"Shut that thing the fuck up before I shut you up", yelled Cam
I quickly shut my alarm off. I walked over to my closet and picked out my outfit for the day. It was a daisy crop top paired with high waisted light wash jean shorts. I grabbed my black vans and started putting on all my bracelets. I wear them all the way up my arm. Then because it is september even in California I grabbed my light weight long cardigan. I quickly curled my hair and walked down stairs. I hoped to be out the door before Cam was ready but that didn't happen.
"Hey I see your really dressing the part today slut"
"C-Cam what did I ever do to you what turned you into such a monster"
I guess that was to much for him to handle. I felt it seconds later as his hand came in contact with my face.
"Shut up bitch I don't want anything to do with you."
With that remark he grabbed his bag and left. Not wanting to be late I grabbed my mint colored penny board and started off to school.
