The Abandoned... { completed }

Chapter 7

we pull up at the building we live at now. it wasn't bad, just a little small. we got out of the car and started to walk into the building. our new apartment number was 14. we would find ourselves at the room and we stuck the keycard through the slot. 

we pushed on the door, causing it to slowly swing open. my mom smiled at me, " now we have WIFI," she tends to joke.

i smiled, " yea,"

today my mom had her first shift at her new job. she went to her room to grab her new uniform. i went to my new room. my bed was placed in the far corner of the room next to a window. my bedside table was right next to my bed. my small desk was on the other side of the room, that's where I sat my backpack.

there were boxes full of my books, clothes, and other stuff. i decided to go through that stuff later. i heard the bathroom door open. i went over to see my mom wearing a white formal shirt, a black skirt, and a black-tie. her auburn hair was pulled up into a high poney tail. she noticed me and smiled at me.

"so, how do I look?" she asked.

i smiled at her, " you look good mom,"

her smile grew a little, " thanks hay," she placed her hand on my shoulder, " just remember this job is only temporary, just until I can get a better one," she promised.

i nodded, " I know,"

she hugged me, " thank you,"

I hugged her back,"for what ?"

" for being so calm, and cooperative, " she broke the hug. she ran her hand through my messy auburn-green hair. " I wont be back till nine, if you get hungary, there is sandwitch fixins in the pantry ,"

i nodded, " ok,"

she smiled at me once again, grabbinger her purse and key card. she waved at me before walking out the front door. i was alone.

i went to my moms room and grabbed her crombook. i signed in to my account and went to the school website. i was going to go to my online homework, but then i saw this link. help tutor kids who need it. i clicked it.

my eyes widened. for every hour of tutoring you did you got three dollers. i smiled and clicked it. i filled out the form, i was ready to help tutor some one. i mean, i do get strait As in every class, so this should be easy.

i waited  minute until i finally got a student to tutor. i clicked on the notification and pulled uup to see who i was tutoring.
