i stretched my arms awake. i yawned as i opened my jade green eyes. i quickly grabbed my black hoodie and pulled it over my head. i looked at the small mirror propped up against the wall. my auburn, green tipped hair was a complete mess.
i grabbed some black jeans and quickly put them on followed by my black and white, worn-out addidas. i grabbed my backpack and made my way to the kitchen. a note was left on the counter. i picked it up and read it : hey hunny, had a early shift, your bus number is 98 ( ;) rylie ) and the bus river has your pass, see you tonight, love you.
i pulled out my phone and saw the bus would be here soon. i grabbed a gronilla bar. i quickly got out the door and found my self in front of the apartment building.
i waited for a little before i saw the bus pull up. i shuttered a little. the doors opened, i took a step back. i waited a moment before i walked on. the bus driver looked at me, "name?"
i shook my head, "h-hayden haze, "
"ahh, new boy," the bus driver nodded, " heres ya bus pass, " he said, handing me a pass with my name on it, " take a seat boy,"
i nodded, taking the pass. i started to walk down the isle, looking for a place to sit. every seat was full, except for one. there was this girl, black hair, with blue high lights. she wore a black leather jacket with a black and white striped shirt. she wore black jeans and a pair of black an white checker vans. she turned to me, she had blue eyes, beautiful blue eyes.
she narrowed her eye brows, " yo, boy," she looked at me, " are you going to sit or not?"
i shook my head, " uh, yea," i sat down next to her. i was shaking a little, just nervous.
she raised an eye brow, " you scared greeny ?" she asked.
i shook my head, " i have a name,"
"oh really ,"
" Hayden," i rolled my eyes.
" well mr. hayden, im madam sam, " she smiled.
" ok, sam," i started, " what grade are you in ?" i asked.
" seventh, i just moved here," she shrugged.
" great, so am i," i slightly smiled.
" well then, mr greeny, mind if i sit with you at lunch? im-,"
"lost, lonely, abandoned ?" i asked.
she smirked "maybe,"
i felt my phone buzz, so i pulled it out to see a text from alana that said : hey, i have a dentist appointment after school, move it to tomm. i texted back : ok.
sam grinned at me, " whos your girl friend?" she asked.
i gave her my annoyed face, " not my girl friend,"
she winked at me, " ok,"
i shook my head as the bus came to a stop. i watched others stand up so i did to. we both walked off the bus.
{~*~}
i led sam down to my tabble. we sat in silence. she looked at me, confused, " you not going to eat ?"
i looked over an aw she had a mayo and ham sandwich, cut into two slices, i shrugged, " i didnt bring a lunch and i got no money for the school food,"
she looked at her sandwiched and handed me one of the halves, " here, have it, im not that Hungary, "
i tilted my head, " you sure? you dont have to,"
" im sure," she nudged it over to me.
i smiled and took it.
maybe thing were gonna change.
