I was walking to school in the rain. Yes, rain. My mom had an earlier appointment across town today, so she couldn't drive me. And my sister hates to be seen with me, so there goes my other ride.
My auburn, green tipped hair, was about to turn brunette. I looked up to see a car next to me. In it was a boy with light blond hair with dark blue eyes. The passenger's seat door opened, and a girl popped her head out, " Hayden! Get in the car its pouring!" she called.
Alana.
I looked her in the eye, " it ok, I'm good,"
She rolled her bright blue eyes, " get in the car, you will be sick!"
I sighed, "you are not taking no for an answer, are you?" I asked.
She nodded. I sighed and found myself in of her car. She introduced me to her brother, Aidan. I said hi real fast before we pulled up to school. I got out and thanked Adian real fast. I got through the door and went to the 7th grade hallway.
I went to my locker and started to twist the lock, into my combo. I pulled up on the hatch and grabbed my Math book. I grabbed my earbuds and phone and started to play my play list. I made my way to my Classroom, B07 and found my seat in the back. I pulled out my sketch book and doodled my way through class.
I then went to my locker and got my reading note book. I pulled out my ear buds and shoved them in my locker. My Reading teacher, Mrs.Mara had eyes like a hawk. She see all. Its actually kinda scary.
I sat in the middle of class. I had my arm on my desk, and rested my head on it.
" Tired?" a voice asked.
I looked up to see Alana, " A little," I shrugged.
She smiled and sat her binder and note book down next to me and sat down. She smiled, " your welcome for the ride. Adain said he didn't mind,"
I slightly smiled, " thanks,"
" hey, I notice you sit alone at lunch," she pointed out. oh wow... that's all I needed, " wanna sit at my table ?"
" you notice you sit at the popular kid table ? Im a mere nobody," I gestured to myself with my hand.
She rolled her eyes, " fine, I will sit with you," she smiled.
I rolled my eyes, " look Alana," I started, " You don't have to,I always sit alone so I'm used to it," I shrugged, setting my head back on my arm, facing the other way.
She sighed, " that's sad, please let me to sit with you?" she slightly begged.
I groaned, " fine, but just for today," I argued back, looking at her again.
She smiled, " great, see you there, I promise,"
I looked at Mrs.Mara as she talked, but my mind kept playing different ways this lunch could go. Some were good, some were bad. Mainly bad. I need to take a deep breath. Things will go ok.
Hopefuly..
