Chapter 17

*Matthew's POV*

Today is our last day in Chicago. We talked to the manager at the restaurant about having us all in for our last day and he said he could make an exception. 

We went down to the restaurant and had breakfast. After getting our food we all sat down. Riley sat next to Shawn and Jack G. After having a couple of bites Shawn told Riley that their parents are back from their cruise. 

"Since our parents are back home you can go home if you want Riles." Shawn said upset.

"No don't go" everyone said. 

"We will miss you too much." Jack G said from beside her. 

"Not everyone will miss her." I said quietly hoping no one heard me. Unfortunately Cameron heard me.

"What did you say Matt?" he said from beside me.

"I said not everyone will miss her."

I could tell Riley was trying not to cry and ignored what I said.

"I don't know if I should go." she said wondering whether or not to go.

"Just go! No one wants you here!" I screamed at her. 

She ran out of the room crying with Shawn and Carter running behind her. 

"Just because she's moving on doesn't mean you have to be holding her back." Jack J said from across the table. 

Carter walked back in and told us what happened.

"Thanks to Matt over here she's going to go back home. While we board the flight to New York she is getting her flight to Toronto then her parents will pick her up and drive her back to Pickering" he said sadly. 

"Thanks a lot Matthew now she's going home. I really won't have a shot with her now." Hayes said.

"You wouldn't have a shot anyway. You are too young." Nash said to his little brother.

"Well I look pretty mature for my age if you ask me." he responded.
