Chapter 19

*Matthew's POV*

We finally landed in Toronto. I was getting ready backstage for the show when Shawn was talking to the other guys. I walked up behind him and heard him say

"So I just got a text from Riley and she said she is coming to the show tonight. She said she will be in the the front." 

"Wait Riley is coming to the show?" I said excitedly.

"Ya" Shawn said and walked away.

Wow she is coming to the show. This is my only chance to win her back. I hope to god I won't mess it up this time.

We all went on stage for the show and I saw Riley standing in the front row. She looked better than I remember. She is standing next to some guy and another girl she seems to know. I hope he isn't her boyfriend. Through out the whole show I can't help but keep looking at Riley and the mystery man. This show seems to be the best one we have done since Riley left. All the guys are actually happy and having fun. 

The show ends and Riley, her friend and that guy all have backstage passes thanks to Shawn. They all come backstage and Riley runs up and jumps on Shawn giving him a huge hug because she missed him. After a couple minutes she came down and started hugging everyone else. I can't help but wonder where her friend and boyfriend(?) are. Then I turn and see them sitting on the couch backstage and making out. I walk over to them and yell

"HOW DARE YOU CHEAT ON RILEY! YOU ARE A HORRIBLE PERSON TO CHEAT ON SUCH A BEAUTIFUL AMAZING GIRL! SHE DESERVES BETTER THAN YOU, BETTER THAN ME. SHE IS TOO GOOD FOR ANYONE, ESPECIALLY YOU!" 

Riley walks up behind me and says 

"What the hell is wrong with you Matthew? This is my friend Andrea and HER boyfriend Hunter."

"Nice to meet you." I awkwardly say. They shrug me off and just continue to make out.

I turned around to Riley and tell her the story as to why I said that. A smile came on her face but she quickly wiped it off. 

"Bye Matthew" she says while walking away.

"Wait Riley, this whole thing is a mistake. You should come back on tour with us. We all miss you a lot." I say.

"Why should I come back. Don't you have other girls to make out with. Shawn told me what happened." she said.

I turn and see Shawn looking at me as if to say 'you better fix this.'

"But you are the only girl I want to stick my tongue in your mouth.... wait that came out wrong. You're the only girl I want to put my lips on your lips with.... wait... wrong again. You are the only girl I like. But not like I like food, like I like like but you don't like like me so this is kind of like weird. But you don't like like me because I messed up and am an idiot." I say sounding like a awkward 10 year old trying to tell a girl they like them.

"I like like you too. We sound like middle school kids trying to tell each other they like each other." she said and laughed. She looked down at the floor embarrassed. Since I was a lot taller than her I could see the guys standing where they were. They looked weird all kissing their hands. What are they doing? OH! They mean for me to kiss her. I looked at Shawn and he gave me a thumbs up. 

I took her face in my hand and softly kissed her. She kissed me back and placed her arms around my neck. I moved my arms to around her waist and pulled her closer to me. It felt like time stopped and we were the only people in the world. We were kissing for at least a minute when Shawn rudely coughed loudly as a sign to stop. She pulled away and smiled at me. I looked her in the eyes and said "I guess I'm forgiven." 

"mmmm I don't know" she said and we laughed.

"I hate to ruin the moment but there are sort of other fans to meet." Jack J says.

"Listen, last time we met fans we ended up hating each other so don't mess up." she said while taking my hand and turning me to her.
