Chapter 18

*Matthew's POV*

Today is the day we leave Chicago for New York. It is also the day I lose Riley. It is all my fault for her leaving. We were all in the airport when boarding for Riley's flight was called. Since her flight was 30 minutes earlier we got there early so we could say goodbye to her. As she went down the line she said goodbye to everyone and gave them all hugs. She put her number in every ones phones before so we didn't have to worry about getting it. Next in line was Shawn and she was crying by then. She gave him a long hug goodbye and a kiss on the cheek. I was next. All she did was look me in the eyes and say 

"This is what you wanted, right?" she said.

"Ril-"

"Save it Matthew it's too late." she said while grabbing her bags and boarding the flight.

The plane ride to New York was silent. I knew it was my fault she left. Everyone was distant the next week of shows. Since Riley left Cameron now shared a room with Shawn. Shawn only ever talked when we were on stage or getting food. He has been so distant lately because of how I practically ruined RiIey's life. She trusted me and I lost her trust. Out of all the guys she chose me and now I'm the reason she left. 

We are going to Toronto next so maybe Riley is coming to the show to visit us. Well not me but the other guys. 

I would love to talk to Riley again. Every time I text her she doesn't answer but I know she is getting them because it shows she read them. Maybe she misses me as much as I miss her. I doubt it, she wouldn't even give me a hug goodbye at the airport. We are staying in Toronto for a week so I am bound to see her at least once. Shawn mentioned something about seeing her but I don't remember what he said. 

I miss her so much. You don't know how much something means to you until it is gone.
