BOTH my friends and sort of, I'm not sure what the history is, enemies gathered together in a small room as we surrounded our suspect— Jet. He sat on a chair and stared down at his feet as we discussed the details of his current situation.

"The Dai Li must've sent Jet to mislead us and that janitor as part of their plot too," Katara said.

"I bet they have Appa here in the city," Aang voiced. "Maybe he's in the same place they took Jet."

"Right under our noses... the place we'd least expect it," I said.

"Do you think your mom knows where Bonbi is?" Toph asked.

"For her sake and mine, I really hope not," I muttered. My mother did work for the Dai Li, like Jo Dee, so if she decided to withhold the smallest clue as to where my dragon could be, I don't know how I'd react.

"Where did they take you?" Aang questioned.

"Nowhere!" Jet exclaimed in his seat. "I—I don't know what you're talking about."

"We need to find a way to job his real memories," Aang said.

"Maybe Katara could kiss him, that should bring something back," Sokka joked.

My eyes nearly fell out of my head. I glanced at Katara who glared at our brother. I then looked over at Aang, who glowered at the ground. I don't blame him if someone told Zuko to kiss someone in front of me I'd be furious.

Zuko—

My stomach twisted at the thought of the damaged prince. I hadn't seen him in weeks, ever since the Siege of the North.

"Maybe you should kiss him," Katara responded, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Hey, just an idea."

"A bad one," Aang mumbled.

"Oh, wait, I got it," Sokka said after a moment. He reached under Jet's mattress and grabbed a piece of wheat and stuck it in his mouth.

"I don't think it's working," Jet told.

"Try to think of something from your past that triggers your emotions," Toph suggested.

"That's not a problem for me," I mumbled.

"The Fire Nation, remember what they did to your family?" Smellerbee piped in.

"Close your eyes. Picture it," Katara said.

Jet closed his eyes tightly. Sweat dripped down his face as he digs deep into his memory. His eyes then snapped open and I practically saw the visions flashing in his mind. I could feel the pain radiating off of him.

"No! It's too painful," he gasped.

"Maybe that'll help," Katara said.

She placed her hands on the side of his head and let her heal him as Jet thought about his past. This time, there was a big difference in his posture as he thought. He was calmer, at ease even.
