**Emma's POV**

Damn it! Fuck! I kept throwing whatever I could see in this dimly lit room. "Agh! That fucking loser! How dare she!" I screamed as I hurled a vase into the wall.

How dare she call me naive?! How dare she avoid my moves?! Just who the fuck is she?

I clenched my hands, thinking about her, my blood boiling so much that all I could envision was me killing her. Doesn’t she know me?! "Fuck, I am Emma Rezco. The famous fighter in the history of France, known in many different places as the best killer and feared by people. And that fucking girl called me naive?! She’d better wait and see. Agh!"

Suddenly, I heard laughter coming from the corner. "Oh, Emma. You're really into her. That's... very interesting. You know, there's something about that girl... she's unusual."

"Shut up, Julius!" I yelled at him; he just added to my anger, and damn it!

I wanted to kill someone tonight, but all I could think of was that fucking bitch! I really wanted to kill her.

Hmm... it would be interesting if I gave her a taste of what she had done to me. She humiliated me in front of those people; it would be wonderful if she tasted it a bit before the battle.

I could cut off a foot or a hand; oh, I'm so genius.

"You know, instead of yelling and screaming here, you can practice for your fight tomorrow night," he suggested while sharpening his sword.

"Or I could use my spare time to start the battle tonight. I'll surely win that fight." I laughed in victory as I started walking toward the door.

I walked out of the warehouse we used to train and meet up. I just wanted to enjoy watching someone suffer tonight.

Hmm... where would she be?

Oh, Stella. You're waking the devil in me. Well, I am a devil. I laughed again at the thoughts in my head.

**Stella's POV**

"Sweetheart, get in." Lucas said, opening the passenger door of the car. Though I felt something bizarre, I slid inside the car and fastened my seatbelt.

Lucas hurried to get into the driver’s seat and put on his seatbelt. "Where do you want to go?"

"Anywhere. Well... I-I thought you knew," I stated shyly as I looked at him.

His lips quirked into a cheeky smile, and despite the eyeglasses he wore, the amusement and excitement were visible in his eyes. My heart warmed just by looking at him.

"I know; I was just asking if there’s a place you wanted to go. But since there’s none, then..." He looked at me with that sweet smile. "Tonight is on me." Then he looked back at the road as he drove faster.

I bit my lip. How could I have this handsome man in my life? God blessed me with a lovely man that I will treasure my whole life.

Suddenly, my attention was caught when I sensed a suspicious car behind us, probably 8 to 10 meters away. I looked through the mirror and saw a tinted red car. Maybe I was being delusional again, so I ignored it.

As the car sped along, I couldn’t help but stare at Lucas. I sighed; tomorrow would be a battle between me and Emma. Knowing her, it would be a battle to the death. Whether I would die or she would.

Lucas didn’t know about it, and I hoped that he wouldn’t find out, but I knew he eventually would. Should I tell him? Or should I wait until the time he discovers?

He didn’t know anything about my past, but he had seen only a glimpse of it. I hid a secret, and I knew that he was also hiding something from me... I respected his privacy. However, he was my fiancé, and the time would come when we would be one.

Suddenly, I felt tingles when he held my hand while his other hand held the steering wheel. My heart raced uncontrollably. Oh, how I wished we could remain like this... just like this, being together.

He brought my hand to his lips and kissed the back of it. I smiled as my cheeks reddened from his gestures.

After a while, we reached our destination. I wasn’t sure if this was really the destination. It was somehow dark, and only the moonlight illuminated the place, producing dim light. And... there was no one but us. I could see no one outside as I looked through the window.

"Where are we?" I asked Lucas as I glanced at him.

"Don't worry, sweetheart. This is one of the villas I own. No one lives here but my caretakers; this place is also secured, so you don't have to worry," he said, giving me a reassuring smile.

I nodded at him in understanding. "Okay, so... what are we gonna do here?" I asked, feeling somewhat confused.

He smiled again with glistening eyes. "Ahm, can you wait for me here? It won't take long, I promise," he asked hesitantly.

I smiled sweetly at him. "It's okay, Lucas. I'll be fine."

"Stay here, okay?" he reassured me, and I nodded.

He opened the car door and walked away, leaving me alone inside the car. But the truth was that I wanted him to go, too, because I wanted to assure something. When I saw Lucas gone far, I opened the door and walked out of the car.

I was sometimes disobedient, and I couldn’t help it. Even when I was with my gang, they couldn’t help but just understand me; well, they had to... they had no other choice.

Once I was outside the car, I waited for a moment, and there... I was now completely assured that Lucas had an uninvited visitor.

I recognized that aura... I would never forget it. I thought... she couldn’t wait for tomorrow.

If my date tonight was ruined, I would not hesitate to kill someone... tomorrow.
