I am currently sitting on the bench, waiting for the girls. They texted me, saying we would meet here in the field right at the bench so we could enter the restaurant together. They’re afraid I’ll meet Daniela alone... afraid I won’t be able to suppress my anger.

The boys decided to stay at the mansion since their fans have multiplied, waiting for them to come out. They can sometimes roam around the school, but not freely, as they’re mostly blocked by hordes of students.

Looking around, everything seems as it was, but suddenly... these auras. I felt them again. Who could they be?

The auras are coming from the east side, but when I looked over, I could see students—none of whom possess the auras I am sensing. They captured my interest.

Once again, I ignored it.

"Claire!" I looked up to see Drena and Cassy waving at me from a distance. "Come on, let’s go!"

I stood up and walked toward them. We entered the restaurant together. "I’m in a good mood, so it’s my treat again," Cassy said, smiling happily.

"Let me guess, your father called and gave you your allowance?" Drena said, her finger pointed at her chin.

Cassy beamed, her knowing look confirming Drena’s guess. "You got it right, Drena."

** Drena's POV **

When we opened the door of the restaurant, some students paused and looked our way. It wasn’t new; we caught attention because of the Insigma Fighters, and we’ve become somewhat... famous as their girlfriends. With this fame, we also gained our share of bashers.

I noticed girls glaring at us while others gossiped, some boys gazing at us with adoration in their eyes, while a few simply... stared blankly. I didn’t care.

We settled at the circular table in the middle, designated for the Insigma Fighters, but we had no choice; all the other tables were full due to the high enrollment this year. The boys wouldn’t mind us sitting here; I bet they’d prefer it.

"I’ll go order the food," Cassy said, leaving for the counter. Thank goodness Daniela isn’t here.

I glanced at Claire, who was staring seriously at the empty table. She seemed lost in thought, causing my forehead to crease.

"What’s wrong, Claire? You seem bothered," I asked.

I knew many things were going on in her mind, but I didn’t understand why her aura felt off today. She always said everything was good, that she was okay, but I knew she was hiding the truth to spare us worry.

She shook her head in response. I sighed in defeat; I couldn’t make her tell the truth.

"Here’s your order, ma’am." Cassy returned with a tray of food, followed by a staff member carrying another tray, which they placed on our table.

"Thank you," I mouthed to the staff, and he smiled as he returned to the counter.

"I’m so hungry! Let’s eat!" Cassy exclaimed as she took her seat.

"Yup, thanks for the food," I agreed, and we began to dig in.

I felt uncomfortable with Claire’s behavior today. My instincts told me she was up to something. After a year of friendship, I was beginning to understand her better. Not long after, I sensed Claire freeze, seemingly waiting for something—or someone.

I looked at her as she gazed at the door. What could be on the other side? Just then, the door opened, revealing... what the heck!

A girl and a guy, probably my age, stepped inside, but what shocked me was the guy...
