I spent all of Sunday studying. I had to catch up on a couple of things. Mr Reed was also gone that day because apparently there was an emergency at work. Which I liked because I had an unexpected study guest.

I was studying in the lounge by myself when I felt my nerves spike and the hair on my neck stand. I knew who entered the room before even looking. Jax rounded the couch I was sitting on. He plops down on the other couch across from me, papers and notebooks in his hand.

He organised his stuff on the little table. He opened his book and his brows scrunched in concentration as he read.

My lips slightly curled in a small grin. His eyes snap up at me and he glares at me, "What the fuck are you laughing at?"

"Was I laughing?" I said innocently.

"No but you were smirking."

I shrug my shoulders childishly, "I wasn't doing anything. I'm just sitting over here...tryna study."

He scoffs and looks back at his book. I smirked and looked back at my own book.

And that was how my Sunday was spent. We hardly talked to each other, but we both sat on our assigned couches, changing positions now and again. The sounds of sighs, pencils on paper, pens being played with. The sound of scribbling and papers being ripped, pages being turned.

And soon my loud ass alarm alerts me early in the morning that my weekend is over and my hell that is Monday is here.

Feeling the beautiful warmth that encased me, it was so hard to find the motivation to get out of bed, "Ten more minutes," I told myself. I smiled and snuggled a little deeper.

After a little while, I decided it was time to get out. I looked at the time, "Shit!" I jumped out of bed and ran around my room, getting my clothes.

I was sleeping for an extra forty-five minutes! Shit! Shit! Shit! I put on some ripped up denim jeans, and threw on a grey hoodie. I also my knotted hair in a messy bun. Shit! I'm gonna have to run to school. Jax would've left by now.

I jumped down the stairs, grabbed a piece of toast, slathered it with butter and held it in my mouth as I jumped on my feet toward the door all the while putting on my shoes. I opened my door, ready to run when I saw Jax standing there.

Actually he was leaning on his car, smoking his cigarette. I froze because he looked absolutely delicious. He was wearing a plain white t-shirt, a denim jacket, slightly loose black jeans with black timberland boots. And a single diamond stud on his ear.

He released a cloud of smoke as his strikingly blue eyes face me. His eyes run up and down my body, "Well you look like shit."

I rolled my eyes. I forgot...that's right...this is Jackson fucking Reed.

"Sorry for oversleeping," I said quietly.

Jax doesn't say anything and just got in his car and I did the same. Once we got to school we both went our separate ways. I went to my locker when Heather pops out of no where, "Heyy!"

"Hey, Heather."

"Why does Jax look more sexy than psychotic today?"

I raise my head and see Jax's broad back walk further away down the hall. Even the sight of him takes my breath away a little.

"Ummm...He looks the same to me," I knew that was a complete lie, I didn't want Heather to know about Jax and I. Well...there's really nothing to tell, but...except we have this weird secret understanding.

"Well you're obviously blind because he looks like a complete snack. Actually no, he's a freaking meal on Christmas day."

I laugh and shook my head, "Wipe the drool from your mouth Heather, we gotta go to class."
