The story how Birdflash met Voltron (Klance and obviously birdflash rewrite)

Chapter 3 (Rewritten)

It was not surprising that there was another mission soon going on. At first he hoped that he would not have to go but when hearing that Voltron would be sighted, made him decide to plead with Lotor. The male was letting him go but he also knew that the three other female aliens were not liking this too much.

They never really liked him a lot. It was causing some arguing and usually it was him who ended up punished. It was not fair and that was why he stayed quiet not wanting to end up in that room. So they ended up going to a planet.

The three were occupied with something, making him easy to slip out. His body shuddered and he could just hope that he would see Shiro or Keith. Both were preferable or Wally.

The loneliness was getting worse and he was pretty sure that his wrists were by now scarred. He was knowing that this was not healthy but the urge for getting pain to distract him from his thoughts were leading to this.

He pushed this aside as he turned invisible. His gaze went around and he couldn't help but beam when seeing Shi-Shi. Obviously with other people there but this was not what he realized yet. His mind was focused only on the male.

His mind was barely registering what he done when he tackled the male into a hug. At first he felt the other struggling and telling him to let go but when he whimpered almost quietly the nickname of the male it made him realize who it was.

It was now that there where other people there who asked what was going on. Shiro brushed them off and telling them that he had to go somewhere real quick. His body was dragged somewhere and as soon as they were alone the hug was received back. At first he was flinching but soon relaxing into the hold, liking the familiar affection of Shiro.

"God I am glad to see that your alive but you are way too thin. Aren't you eating enough?" The tone was relieved yet there was also concern and he hid his face into the chest not wanting to answer.

It was one thing that he could never answer and it was clear to Shiro that he wasn't going to say anything. The only thing that made the other know that he heard him were the soft sniffling sounds that went out with him tearing up.

"Okay, you won't need to tell me but please try to eat something, not just for me but for Wally can you do that?" It was clear a soft soothing tone yet also making him know that the male was trying to bring him to eat more. He nodded into the chest but also knowing that he won't be able to escape.

Shiro knew this and he felt guilty. There was no way that he would be able to leave and it was the harsh truth once more.

"Guess this is a bye for now again, isn't it?" Once more it was said more of a sorrowful tone and he could just once more nod. Shiro like always gave him a kiss on his temples and he leaned into the touch as feeling the touch deprivation.

They ended up letting go of the hug and both went to their ways. When he slipped back inside he seen that the people of Voltron had issues with fighting. So that he decided to help them. His eyes glowed slightly -not that he realized it- as he used his powers subconsciously.

The three females had to retreat and he couldn't help but know that this would not be going well for him but at this moment he was not caring. When he ended up going back he knew that Lotor would give him a punishment.

Leading for him to be stuck in that dark room for god knows how long. It was really straining and he hated it so much but there was no regret as he helped Shiro and Keith. This was all that mattered. It was something that he would do again and again.

After being let out, Lotor send him back to his room and locking the door. It meant that he was not going to visit him or let anyone show themselves to him. Another psychological torture. At least he wouldn't be alone and this was a good thing.

He could finally call them and hope that they had been ending up back at their space ship. A fear went through him and this was why he decided to call after making sure that no one could listening in or see what he was doing. Or at least not himself but the hologram that was seen sitting on bed and staring depressingly on the wall with arms wrapping around his legs.

"Holy shit, you really did help us." This was the first thing that was said by Keith who gave him an astonished yet also proud look. But that look changed to concern as brows furrowed.

"He didn't hurt you did he?" Even the same concerned tone was heard and he nodded but he couldn't help but shiver.

"Na-No ba-but hafta stay in a room which was dark..." It was obvious that whatever he talked about had not been pleasant and Keith seemed to be even more concerned now. Maybe this was how the phone was put on hold until the familiar face of Shiro appeared.

His expression perked up and he felt his mood brighten at this yet soon he felt nervous. Shiro knew what the Galra's can do but not even he would imagine what psychological torture he had to go through.

"Jesus you look like you need some sleep. How about you lay down and I stay until you have fallen asleep?" The tone was suggestive yet the eyes told a different message; better rest or I will find a way to get to you.

Making him huff out and deciding that it was not worth arguing against him. The exhaustion was one of the reasons why he decided to rest. Shiro's continued to talk about anything that came to his mind and he was feeling him fall asleep soon enough.

When waking up he felt well rested and having heard Shiro made his mood grow so much better. But then he remembered that he was still there and his mood slumped. God he hoped that he would get out this place soon when not he wasn't sure how much he could survive this before deciding to end this all himself. Another thing that made this much better was that he got information from Kolivan that Wally had been found by Voltron, know that he couldn't give up or else he would never see his best friend ever again.
