Chapter 21

Two days straight that she had been unconscious, and he could just feel the worries worsen. For him it was dreading to wait for people who he sees like a family not awake. It was not helping that he felt like it had been this weird orb that caused this. His gut felt queasy at this and something felt off about his sister figure.

Call it a hunch or maybe Heroes intuition but this wasn't feeling like her. Not even when she was asleep, she felt like this. It was as her energy had shifted to a bad one. The thought alone made him feel unsure and anxious. But he wasn't the only one, everyone else was worried.

"I know your worried but take a nap, please. When not for you do it for me." Wally sounded desperate now and he let out a sigh and nodding. His boyfriend let out a relieved smile and scooping him up as making their way back to their room.

He went for a quick shower and then ended up cuddling with his boyfriend. The two had not said anything and the male was going soothingly through his hair. This resulted in him feeling calmness yet exhaustion catching up on him. So that it took not too long for him to fall asleep.

His eyes slowly opened, and he groaned out as he realized that he got woken up. A harsh nightmare woke him up. It was about Honerva and he could just shiver. This was a first and it took a lot not to freak out. Lucky for him he had an amazing boyfriend who instantly was acting and starting to whisper some reassuring words.

Not even five minutes later a knock was coming, and he was feeling dreadful. In the end, they were called for a meeting and he knew something was up from how upset Lance looked like.

"No." He firmly said as standing up. "You didn't." He added soon in disbelieve at what his sister figure had done. To make this worse she thought having this connection was the only way to find Honerva.

"I am not going to stand this." He firmly said once again, and his eyes narrowed. "Because I might as well jump off and into space and die. This is suicidal and I can't believe that almost you all agree to this." He hissed out and gritting his teeth. It was obvious that he was as upset as Lance, now that he heard what this orb was.

"This is our only chance that we can find her." Her heard Allura say and he huffed out at this.

"Did you ever think that now Honerva can find us and not to mention that we all are connected?" He was glaring daggers now and feeling angered that she was risking his family member for this. Not to mention he could feel the bad energy vibe from her.

"I had to do what I had to do, Richard." Her voice was firm, and he closed his eyes and when opening all emotions left. A blank look was on his expression.

"You're not her." He said firmly and all emotions left. "All you are right now playing right into her hands. Even your vibe is evil." He pointed out and everyone was staring at him. The reason was obvious to him and he knew why.

Now that he thought about it, since he trained his ability, he started to have sharper instincts and even feeling when someone has not pure intention. It was why he was right now firmly against it. Wally had been silent and none of the others in the room had said something yet.

"I am still me. Just because I have this entity in me doesn't mean that I am different." She explained and his expression hadn't changed.

"No you aren't. Not as long as this thing stays in you. Because the Allura I know would risk everyone's life." He still held the same tone, and this went on for a few minutes. He wasn't backing out on this one nor was Allura.

"I got called?" Shiro was now entering and he glanced at him and still having the same expression. The male instantly felt the tension in the room. He plopped himself back down and staying silent as Keith explained. Then there came the voting and he sat firmly on his chair, the same was said with Lance and Wally.

"This is too risky, and I won't join." He said as pulling out his Bayards and slithering it over to Allura. "Because I am not going to join something that could kill my sibling figures." He still had the same expression and standing up and leaving. He wasn't going to stay any longer with this entity in his sister figure. He might be reckless but even this was something that he would not do, not when there are people at stake. People who he sees as his second family.
