Ponyboy nods as he starts to feel tears well up in his eyes.
"It's alright, I understand." He nods. "But just listen to me ok,"
You lift you head up to look a him with tears dripping down your red cheeks.
"When you come back I promise I'll be waiting for you, no matter what. . . I'll be waiting for you."
You chuckle and nod. He pulls you in for a hug and gently kisses your lips.
"Goodbye, Ponyboy." You wave and slowly walk away leaving a heartbroken boy behind.
