Ryan opened his laptop and allowed Discord to download. He was feeling butterflies in his stomach. Talking with his new friend was definitely easier through text. Maybe this will be better though....

While the app downloaded, Ryan grabbed a bag of chips and some water. He came back and made an account. After that was all set up, he glanced at his screen for the code Matt sent and entered it. Immediately, Matt accepted the request.

Suddenly, Ryan was receiving a call... Hesitating, but then taking a deep breath and answering.

Matt's face appeared on the screen.

"Ryan?"

"Uh... Hey."

"Ryan!" Matt happily announced. Ryan blushed a little.

"Matt!"

"Aw I really like your voice."

"Matthew!" Ryan exclaimed, looking down. "That's so sweet of you. You sound exactly what I expected you to sound like."

"Which is...?"

"Hmmm... Good!!"

They talked a bit about their days and other random tidbits that came to their minds, forgetting about the movie. Suddenly, Ryan looked at the clock. It was 3:35 am.

"Aw shit dude.." Ryan pouted.

"What?"

"It's like... super late."

Matt looked sad, glancing down at his hands. Ryan examined his expressions, feeling a little sad himself. "We can call tomorrow though! And maybe we'll actually watch the movie tomorrow."

With that being said, Matt looked up at he camera with a smile, beaming. "Sounds good!!"

"What time is it for you?"

"Uhh... 3:35 am."

"Oh! We're in the same time zone dude. That makes it easier."

"Aren't we kinda in the same area anyways? Since we both know Tucker?" Matt squinted. Ryan threw his head back, grabbing his hair.

"Oh shiiiit, I forgot about that!"

"M-Maybe we can like... meet up then?" Matt bounced excitedly.

"For sure dude!" Ryan grinned, radiating off of Matt's excitement.

"Hell yeah!! Well dude, I'll let ya get your rest."

"Aw man, I'll miss ya."

"Clingy ass bitch."

"Okay dude."

"Weeeell.... Goodnight Ry! Love ya."

"Goodnight dude." Ryan laughed, hearing the sound of Matt leaving the call. "Love ya." He said to himself, knowing Matt wasn't there to hear.

The room felt empty and way to quiet now. Ryan then head off to bed.
