Chapter 28

" Okay so you wanna get out of here?" I asked Jimmy. we had spent 6 hours at the park going on rides and playing games.

" Yeah sure baby." Jimmy linked arms with me as we started making our way to the front of the park. we walked down the sidewalk through a street filled with games.

" WAIT!" Jimmy practically yelled, dragging me to a game. it was the ring toss. "I'm awesome at these!"

I giggled and stood behind him as he pulled out his wallet and handed the guy $10. the man at the counter handed him 5 rings.

He nailed each one.
Each.
And.
Every.
Ring.

"Woah babe!" I giggled and he turned to face me smiling like a maniac.

" Well uh..." the guy at the counter looked stunned. " choose any prize you want."

Jimmy rubbed the back of his neck and pointed up to a giant blue giraffe. " that one." he giggled and grabbed my hip, pulling me closer. the man handed him the giraffe.

We began to walk towards the exit, giant blue giraffe in tote. I felt a nudge on my shoulder.

"Jimmy." I giggled and brushed my shoulder. then I was nudged again. I giggled and turned around.

"GIRAFFE KISSES!" Jimmy bellowed, throwing the giraffe at me.

"AH!" I yelled as the giant stuffed animal was hurled in my direction. I caught the animal and stumbled backwards. I felt Jimmy's arms wrap around me before I hit the concrete.

"Careful babe." he smirked, still holding me about 2 feet off the ground.

"Okay okay Sir Slick. pick me back up." I giggled and hugged the giraffe to my chest.

"Pick you up?" He smirked.

" NONONO-"

Jimmy yanked me up and draped me over his shoulder. he wrapped his arms around the back of my thighs, folding me over his shoulder like a towel.

"JIMMY!" I yelled, pushing myself up on his lower back. he giggled and took a small skip. "JAMES!" I laughed, beating the giraffe against his back.

"Nope." he laughed as we walked out of the exit and towards the car.

" JIMMY LET GO OF ME." I laughed, wrapping my arms around his waist.

"Nope." he giggled.

Then.
He did the worst thing possible.

He broke into a sprint, racing across the small road and into the parking lot.

" STOOOPPP!" I giggled, hugging him tighter as not to faceplant onto his back. he slowed to a stop, out of breath. he slung me back over his shoulder into standing position. we were on the far side of the parking lot. Jimmy unlocked the car and walked me to the passenger side. I opened the back door and placed the giraffe and my purse in the back seat. when I stepped back and shut the door, I felt Jimmy's hands on my hips.

"Yes?" I giggled, not turning around. I could see his reflection in the mirror. he was biting his lip like he always does when he wants to kiss me. I slowly turned around to face him.

" Baby girl..." he mumbled, pulling me into his chest.

" You okay baby?" I giggled, pulling back a little and wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Mhmm," he stared at my lips. I smirked at him.

"Come here." I put my hand on the back of his neck and pulled him down to meet my lips. he smashed his lips into mine and pulled my hips closer to him. he leaned into the kiss, pushing me against the side of the car. he ran his tongue along my bottom lip. I smirked into the kiss, keeping my lips shut. he groaned out of frustration and lightly bit my lip. I parted my lips, and his tongue slowly crept into my mouth. Out tongues fought for dominance, but he won. as he explored my mouth, i gingerly rubbed my fingers over his light stubble and smiled. as he pulled his tongue back into his mouth, I closed my lips on them and backed away, leaving him wanting more.

I quickly hopped into the car and put my seatbelt on. he walked around and slipped into his seat. he gave me a sarcastic look.

"Really?" He smirked, starting the car.

" Really." I giggled as we began the trek home.
