The heavenly aroma of bacon accompanied by the sizzling sound peacefully awoke me. After stretching and yawning, I shuffled towards the magical scent. In only Jimmy's teeshirt and panties, I sleepily walked into the kitchen.
"Woah..." Jimmy's raspy morning voice called as I walked around the corner. I blushed and flipped my hair dramatically.
" I know, I know. Not everyone can have such fabulous bedhead." I giggled and grabbed his arm, pulling it to my chest and resting my cheek on his shoulder.
" Actually," he leaned away from me and smiled as he took in my every detail. " I was going to say you look absolutely gorgeous." I blushed and buried my face into his neck. He returned to the bacon as I sleepily leaned against him.
"I love you so much." I smiled as he leaned over and kissed my forehead. He smiled and put the bacon on a plate. He then continued to crack eggs into the pan with the bacon grease.
" I love you too, baby girl."

Sitting at the desk, I hurriedly attempted to file a stack of papers at least two feet tall. Lunch was in an hour, and I wanted to get as much done as possible. With time ticking away, I had over half the stack done in 25 minutes. With a sigh, I slammed the top drawer to the filing cabinet shut.
Deciding to take a break, I made my way to Jimmy's office. Pulling the bottom of my dress down a bit, I made my way down the hall. I stopped in front of the door, where a note was posted.
" Rachel
Please do me a favor. Take your lunch break, and go home. There you will find further instructions."I smiled and adjusted my purse on my shoulder. Peeling the note off of the door, I made my way to the elevator. After an awkwardly silent elevator ride down to the Plaza, I hailed a cab.
I slid into the seat and told the man my destination. I could feel myself being overcome with excitement, confusion, and curiosity. I fidgeted in my seat like a child on Christmas.
Upon arrival, I quickly handed the man cash and sprinted up the stairs in a very non-ladylike fashion, but I didn't care. I unlocked the door and walked into the silent parlor where a giant poster was propped up against the wall.
"Baby, you look gorgeous right now, but go into the bedroom. I have something for you."
I bit my lip in anticipation and walked quickly down the hall. When I entered our bedroom, there was something on the bed that caught my eye. It was a dress with a note.
" Wear this and meet me at Lorenzo's French Restaurant at 5:30
I love you baby girl."I giggled and picked up the dress.
It was stunning.•••••••••••••••{5:15}•••••••••••••••
I looked at myself in the mirror for the last time. My hair was pinned back in a soft bun with a few loose curls framing my face. My eyeshadow was smokey and winged and I had on a light pink blush. From an anonymous number, I was informed to wear red lipstick, which matched the sole of the heels Jimmy had out for me to wear. On my neck, I was a thin silver chain with a small and delicate diamond on it.
The dress was cut a little above the knee and was a dark, intense blue that was almost black, but not navy blue. The heels, 2 1/2 inches, carved out my calf muscles nicely, and highlighted my lipstick. I smiled at my reflection because, for once, I actually felt pretty.

I stepped out of the cab and looked at the restaurant. It was small but beautiful. It smelled like fresh bread and it had an ancient feel about it. The chipped white pillars at the entrance were loosely wrapped in ivy that spread against the wall as well. There were small tables outside filled with people and little street lamps to light them.
