Chapter 35-36
Jacob and his family left the land of Shechem. They left behind the small gods and their gold and all the men, servants and company of Jacob left.
God protected them and put fear in the hearts of the cities around so that they would not come to kill Jacob and his household.
On the way Jacob built alters onto God and God again named him Isreal and reminded him of his promise:
"I am God Almighty be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of you, and kings shall come out of your loins. And the Land which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to you I will give it, and to your seed after you will I give the Land"
Sadly, on the way, Deborah, Rebekah's nurse died. Some time after Rebekah was in labour, but this time, there were a lot of complications but the safety of her baby son was assured.
As she gave up the ghost, she named her son Benoni ( son of my sorrow) but Israel changed his name to Benjamin (son of the right hand).
Now Israel had 12 sons:
From Leah, 6: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zebulum. From Rebekah, 2: Joseph and Benjamin.
From Bilhah, Rachel's handmaid, 2: Dan and Naphtali
From Zilpah, Leah's handmaid, 2: Gad and Asher
They were all born in Padanaram.Israel then came to Isaac his father who then lived 180 years and died. His sons Israel and Esau buried him among his people.
Chapter 36 talks about the generations of Esau.

Again another short chapter 😅, sorry, but the next story is my favourite. It's the story of the life of Joseph and it needs to have its separate chapters😁.
Thank you so much for getting here, I hope you'll continue, your reads, likes and comments really keep me going.
I'm sorry but I won't be able to update for about two months because I'm going back to school to finish my exams. Don't worry, I will surely finish this book when I come back.
👋till next time 😁
