INEFFABLE - chris miles

1x07 : two

i woke up the next morning to a sleeping bella beside me. i smiled and lay a kiss on her forehead before getting up and putting my clothes on. when i was finished in the bathroom i popped my head back in her bedroom door to see she was still sound asleep, not wanting to wake her since she looked so peaceful i decided i would start heading to college and text her on the way.

upon opening my phone i realised i had a missed call from my brother.

the phone rang a couple of times before he answered.

"you all right max" i asked thinking there was something wrong.

"yeah just wondering where you are since you didn't come home last night" he sighed "mum and dad are worried".

"fuck" i lightly muttered to myself, i had totally forgot i hadn't been home last night "are you still home".

"yeah why" he replied.

"if dads there put him on" i told maxxie "oh and also bring my bag with you please".

there was a slight bit of commotion from the other end before my dads voice boomed along the line "you ok kid".

"dad i'm so sorry i didnt plan on being out all night" i pleaded to him "i was just really angry and i needed to get out of there".

i heard him sigh on the other end "it's all right my darlin' i owe you an apology too".

i let out a small sigh of relief "look i need to get to college but can we talk when i come home".

"that's if you do come home this time" my dad joked which made me chuckle "course we can, have a good day at college".

"thanks dad" i told him before i heard him passing the phone back to maxxie "max i'll get you at the cafe, i have some news".

"well now i am intrigued" he chuckled "ill be there in ten" he said before hanging up.

i quickly texted bella before making my way to the cafe.

today 8:13am
had 2 leave 4 college but i had fun last nite;) we should do it again soon

i smiled at my phone before putting it in my bag and heading to the cafe to meet maxxie.

"so you slept with her then" maxxie asked me as we both sat down at a table in the cafe with our breakfast.

i nodded with a small smile on my face.

"fucking hell it's about time something major happened between you two" maxxie laughed slightly.

"fuck off dickhead" i playfully laughed as i threw a balled up napkin at him "i didn't intend to she was just giving me some advice about the whole thing with chris and one thing led to another".

"what are you gonna do about chris" he asked me between chews of his toast.

"well i'm gonna have to talk to him sometime" i said before taking a sip of my coffee "i can't avoid him forever".
