CHAPTER 8 :- SAVING ASTRID

Astrid's POV

I was heartbroken as I saw him turn into a black dot and leave. What torture would I now face? I thought as I was taken into the cells. As I passed through the village, some people called me slut or whore. It tore me from the insides out. I then passed my friends. They all gave me sympathetic looks. Ruffnut was crying as Tuffnut held her. She tried to run to me, only to be stopped by Stoick. Tuffnut ran behind her and slowly pulled her way into a hug as they walked back to the group. All of them couldn't believe what was going on. All except Snotlout. He had a smug expression in his face as he looked at me lustfully. If he touches me, I will kill him! I thought as we passed the villages and into eh cells.

I was pushed into the cells. Stoick walked in right after me. I looked at him. He was enraged. Now I was scared.

"Because of you my only son is gone! Now you shall stay and rot here! You should be ashamed! As your punishment, you shall never be allowed to marry and you shall be deemed as a non-berkian!" He said. I burst into tears. Why Hiccup! You love me! Why did you have to leave! I thought as he turned around to leave. Then someone said something. I looked up. It was Snotlout.

"Excuse me sir, I would like to have a word with the slut in private." He said. Stoick nodded and left. Snotlout entered and locked the door behind him.

"Hey babe!" He said.

"SONTLOUT! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU! YOU AND I SHALL NEVER BE A THING! AND BESIDES! I LOVE HICCUP! NOT YOU!" I yelled at him. In a swift movement, he pinned me to the wall. In that moment all of the air in my lungs escaped.

"Common babe! Let's have some fun!" He said sloppily kissing me as he snaked his hands on my body, slowly snaking his way near my hips. I started to sob as he got lower and lower.

"Hiccup! HICCUP!" I yelled. Snotlout muffled my mouth as he stopped kissing me.

"HAHAHAH! Hiccup! he's not going to save you! He left you. He's so use-" he said. Suddenly, I felt all his weight lift from my body. I sunk down and kept my head into my knees and started to cry. Then, I felt myself being lifted into the air. I never fell down. I was still crying as I opened my eyes. A man had lifted me into his arms bridal style as he walked through the open door. He looked at me. I started to cry even more. It was Hiccup!

"Hey! I'm so sorry Astrid! I didn't know they would react like this!" He said, with tears forming in his eyes. He put me on his Night Fury as he got on as well. The dragon have a warbled. Hiccup warbled back. Then a booming voice was heard behind us. Toothless I think that's his name jumped around and went into a defensive position. It was Stoick.

"Hiccup! What are you doing! She was the cause that you had left!" He said. Hiccup was quick to reply.

"Dad, I love her! That's why I had left! I knew that if I stayed then the attacks would get worse and then soon, someone would get hurt!" He said. So that's why he left! He does still love me! I thought as I rested my head on his back as I hugged back. He looked at me and gave a smile. he turned back to Stoick.

"Well Stoick! Now I'm leaving for good! After what you did today! I will never return!" He said. By now almost all of Berk were there. Then, we took of, into the night sky....
