Chapter 4 - Oh My Gods....
Annabeth's POV
I sat there with the rest of the seven enjoying the picnic Percy had set up, which was blue as usual. I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that my dream was actually coming true, I was going to marry my Seaweed Brain.
After a few hours of talking, laughing and eating with the seven we all headed back to their cabins for the night. I was last to leave the beach as I had walked along the edge of the water for a bit after the rest of the seven had left. But now I wish I hadn't...
As I was heading back up the beach, I heard a small poof! Sound. When I looked over I saw a small grey cloud of smoke. From the cloud emerged the one person I didn't want to see right now, especially after what Percy had asked me a couple hours ago. My mother, Athena, the goddess of Wisdom emerged from the small cloud of smoke, her stormy eyes fixed on me.
I gulped down my fear, "Wh-what brings you here?" I asked trying to show no fear in my voice.
"I have a quest for you." She said showing no emotion in her voice.
I nodded "What is it?" I asked a bit nervous, the last quest she sent me on was a death wish quest under Rome.
"I cannot say much, but Hades has stolen something very dear to me. Go see the oracle for your prophecy" She said, and before I could answer she was gone.
I stood there in dismay for a few minutes before heading up to the cabins, on the way towards the little cave where Rachel stayed I stopped at Percy's cabin, cabin 3.
I knocked on the door softly not wanting to wake him if he wasn't awake after about 10 minutes and no answer I gave up knowing he was asleep. So I started walking towards my cabin for the night.

It was after breakfast and I had just made it to the little cave Rachel stays in during the summer. I pushed past the drapes blocking the entryway and made it into the little cave. "Hey Rach." I smiled. She looked over at me from her art easel. "Annabeth!" She practically shrieked, "What brings you here? Oh and Piper told me about you and Percy congrats!"
I laughed "Thanks, but um my mom sent me," at the sound of my mom sending me Rachel frowned but before either of us could speak again Rachel did her Oracle trance thing and I ran to help you sit down on her bed. As I sat her down she began chanting a prophecy;
The original three shall seek the tree,
But the tables have turned,
The daughter of wisdom shall have her turn,
Find the tree they must or darkness will prevail,
Legacies shall birth to bare the curse,
And face fate worse than worst.
Rachel collapsed back onto her bed, while I stumbled back not knowing what to think of the prophecy. I knew trying to solve it would probably make things worse but it made me wonder. Right away I knew who the original three were and where to find them, but the rest of the prophecy was a blur.
