Chapter 6 - Questing Is Hard

Annabeth's POV

To start the day off, I have a piece of advice for you. Questing, is hard! No matter what you might have heard, it's the most difficult thing in a half-blood's life, probably. But on top of the quest, before we left I had Piper scolding me for going on it and not planning the wedding. The more you get to know that girl the more you can see her inner Aphrodite. No matter what she might do or say, she is her mother's child. Now as I look at the situation we are in, I think wedding planning would be way better than this...

We had just got to Hollywood, which was not easy, and a swarm of empousa crowded around us. Guess who was in the lead. That's right my favorite monster, Kelli. (A/N-Note the sarcasm) They were a lot easier to kill then some of our other encounters, but Kelli made sure I didn't get away without a couple cuts. As we made it up the long, steep path to the Hollywood sign I munched on a small bit of ambrosia, it felt just like our quest to the underworld 8 years, I thought back to it thinking how quick time flew by. We made it to the entrance and a small hole in the side of the hill under the letter'H' formed. We all walked in to be greeted by darkness.
After walking for what seemed forever, it started to get a bit brighter a dim red hue was cast across the sky, or whatever you want to call it in the underworld because it's not exactly the sky.

From here you could see the whole underworld panned out. But where would we find a tree in this joint? When I looked over at Percy and Grover, Percy had his sword out and Grover had his panpipes, I guess they had that bad feeling I had. I was about to reach for my dagger when I got hit over the head with something hard from behind. As I fell face first onto the ground I could hear the faint yells of Percy and Grover but they were cut short. My vision was getting blurrier by the second but I could see their faint figures both tumbling to the ground beside me. I couldn't get a good look as to what had attacked up because at that second I blacked out.

Now you would think since i'm technically not going to sleep I wouldn't get dreams, well it seems that belief is held in error. Because the second my eyelids shut I was engulfed in dreams.

I saw a tree. a beautiful olive tree that had a silvery hue to it. That's it! I thought.That's the tree my mom wants me to get. The bad part all I could see was the tree, no hint to where in this joint it might be. It was just pitch black in the background.

Then my dream changed.
And standing in front of me was the one and only, Aphrodite.

"What do you want?" I groaned, I wasn't really keen on talking to her right now.

But of course she simply smiled "Someone should be in a better mood considering they're getting married!" She exclaimed, and you could tell she was way too excited.

I sighed knowing that this was going to go poorly. "Unless you have something helpful to help me right now, i'll come find you when I want your input on my wedding"

"Fine" she said, and with that I woke up.

A/N-

So hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter and also I had a bit of writers block! Well sorta I know this isn't the best chapter but I haven't been feeling that like that feeling to write, I might discontinue this i'm not sure, but I might just not right a sequel because I don't feel like a lot of people are liking this but if we get 1k reads by the end of this book, then I will probably do a sequel. So please share this with your friends and don't forget to vote!

Also I haven't read the first PJO book in a while (Like almost 3 years lol) so i'm sorry I just went on the movie entrance for the underworld because I couldn't remember the book. Forgive me I know the movies suck.

Quick note just to make sure you know Annabeth and Percy are now 20 in this book, my friend from school asked so I thought I should tell you guys!
