Chapter 14 -  Hyperventilating

Annabeth's POV

Oh my gods. I stood at the window of the Athena cabin staring out at my view of camp, hyperventilating. I was really going to do this. Tomorrow I am getting married. I look back at Hazel who was sitting on my bunk and had given up on trying to calm me down. I was not a force to be reckoned with. Finally I calmed myself down enough to sit down on my bunk beside her. All my siblings were out setting things so we had the cabin to ourselves.

"How are you feeling?" She asked

"Nervous." I admitted

She gasped "The great Annabeth Chase, nervous over something she's probably wanted most of her life? That is unheard of!" She joked

I laughed, Hazel always knew how to make someone feel better.

"I just wish Piper was here. I mean she's not as good as a friend as Thalia, but she was still one of my best friends." I sighed

"I know." Hazel said rubbing circles on my back. "But she chose her side."

I nodded, she was right. I just had to concentrate on the future. On new beginnings.

"Oh! And I can't wait for you to see you dress tomorrow! It's perfect, Percy will love it!"

"Percy will like anything." I laughed, and she laughed along too. "I guess i'll see you tomorrow Hazel. My siblings should be back any minute." She nodded and right as she stood the door burst open revealing ecstatic chattering children of Athena.

She smiled at me before pushing her way out the door leaving me to my thoughts and the chatter of my siblings. After getting everyone settled down people started to get ready for bed as it was close to curfew. Malcolm came over and sat beside me on my bunk.

"How are you feeling?" He asked

"I don't know." I admitted "I'm going to miss you guys."

"We'll miss you to, but cheer up Annabeth! You won't be that far from camp."

I nodded, I loved how Malcolm was always there for me and always found the bright side even when it seemed impossible. "I'll see you tomorrow Malcolm." I smiled as he got up and went to get ready for bed. I laid in my bunk in the dark for a few hours before, surprisingly, passing into a dreamless sleep.

-----TimeSkip-----

When I woke up my cabin was deserted. I was a bit annoyed that they didn't wake me up and let me sleep in but there is nothing I can do about that now. I got dressed in a simple camp shirt and jeans. As I was pulling my messy hair into a simple ponytail, my cabin door opened revealing Pipes holding a plate with a bagel. "Good morning bride to be!" Piper said casually with a cheerful undertone, as she handed me the plate.

"Thanks." I said taking the plate from her and taking a bite out of my food, I hadn't realized how hungry I was until just now. We sat there and talked for a bit while I finished eating. Once I was done Piper grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door.

"Come on!" She said, laughing. As she pulled me towards the Aphrodite cabin.

A/N-

Hey Athenians! So I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I know I promised to do a sequel but based on the stats I would say you guys aren't liking this book so a sequel is in question. If you think I should do a sequel and you like this book please comment so I know. Also don't forget to vote if you liked it! Also I know some of you have been asking about The Daughter of Poseidon, and I know I'm writing a chapter but I try to fill those chapters with at least 1000 words. So please be patient I'm almost done another chapter of that!

Q: Should I still do a sequel?
